This place was recommended by our hotel clerk, and the whole experience was really disappointing. After a long wait in line, we ordered pulled pork sandwiches, and waited some more for our food. It turned out to be dry and tasteless, and we decided that eating sawdust might have been more appetizing. Since it was late, we choked down what... More

Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork, Chicken and Ribs. Even a vegetarian dish?. Sides of Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad and Cole Slaw. Condiment bar. I had a large pulled pork sandwich on a toasted roll. Very good. Potato salad and coleslaw also good. Busy at lunch with locals. Friendly staff. Parking can be challenging. Worth the stop.

The staff was all pretty much hipsters and the like so I didn't expect much from the food. Boy was I wrong. The BBQ was great. I'm from the south so I know BBQ. The tri-tip was the best part. Smoky, juicy and tender. Wow. Sadly this was the only restaurant in Eureka that I can recommend.

Pulled pork, BBQed ribs, tri-tips served with fries and cole slaw, take-out sandwiches, Porter street Barbeque has it all.

My wife picked the place because of my love of bbq. I set the bar high to be fair. What I experienced was an eclectic mix of burned bread, overcooked meats, and a sauce that tasted of kc masterpiece. Not a fan, but it was fed in quantities that will keep me fighting for another day.

Worth the stop. Fast food that isn't fast-food. Friendly staff, pretty good food. I might be a little spoiled because of great BBQ in Kansas City and the rest of the midwest, but this was a reasonable substitute when on the West Coast.

I always think I will try ordering their hamburgers, but the tri-tip always wins. You can get a tri-tip sandwich in either 6" or 12" sizes and any condiments you might think of are available to add to your sandwich. Tried the BBQ pork and chicken and they are good, but my fav is the tri tip.

Tri tip seems to be the house speciality. So I get thr pulled pork . Not bad, everyone else gotthe tri tip ane really enjoyed it. No fries! but that was ok because they had sides like potato sald (very good) cole slaw and chili.

Very few places seem to get the approval of the entire family but Porter Street Barbeque is one of them. We visited here a few years back and again today and everyone was happy with their selection. We liked the pulled pork and tri tip sandwiches. I like how the BBQ pork is served in a container allowing the customer... More

Maybe it's just me, but the sliced pork sandwich was barely edible. It was sliced thin and grilled till every last grain of taste and moisture was eliminated. If I eat there again, I wouldn't order that. Atmosphere is coffee shop mediocre.
