What a fun place! No menu, they cook what they cook that day and it's all you can eat. We went for lunch, fried chicken, mash taters, chicken gravy, soup, bread... I ate so much chicken I couldn't walk. I hear breakfast is awesome too....More

Loved everything about this experience. Good food. Generous servings. All you can eat family style. Simple fare, but very tasty and filling. You sit at long tables. Depending on how busy they are, might mean you are sharing your table with others. It's a huge...More

As others have said- go for the experience not the food, Friendly, attentive service. As noted, family style but fairly empty when we visited. As much food as you want, but that wont be a problem as most items (short ribs the night we went)...More

This is at least the fourth or fifth time we have stopped here since the 1980s. Eating family style in a 100-year-old former lumber camp dining hall is a unique experience. Sitting at long tables eating with strangers is also part of the fun. The...More

We were told about this place by our campground host. I dont know what I was expecting but is was just ok. The food was not bad, but it seemed they are rationing the food. For a family style I expected larger portions. You could...More

If you are a food snob this is not the place for you. If you enjoy a good meal, really good bread, and an experience then by all means go. You are seated at long tables and the food is brought out family style. We...More

We stop here every time we travel through Eureka. Meals served just like 100 years ago. All you can eat and very fast service. Great logging museum in the restaurant.

We had breakfast here many years ago with fond memories and made the mistake in thinking that dinner would be good as well. It was the worst $18 meal per adult that our group of 6 ever had. Never again. And the server was totally...More

Wow! What a great restaurant- we arrived and were greeted and served by the manager- given the history of the area.

I agree with the others. The best way to know is to call the restaurant directly. When we were in Eureka, we just "lucked into" rib night. I will say however, we haven't had a bad meal there yet. :) Hope this helps :)
