This café advertises that is was featured on 3D - Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives. I would definitely put it into the “dive” category. My sister and I recently had lunch there, ordering a po’ boy with a fries on the side. We shared the meal,...as we frequently do. As she reached the bottom of her pile of fries, my sister found a hair clinging to the oils on the plate. We called the waitress over and showed her the hair. She didn’t seem surprised nor did she apologize but asked ‘how can I make it right?’ Well, the real answer is that you cannot make it right when there is hair in your food, however, we answered that she could comp the $15 dollar sandwich. ‘The whole meal?’ she asked, noting that I had pretty much finished my ½ of the meal. She eventually agreed to comp ½ of the meal. So apparently this place feels that finding a hair in their food is so minor that it is worth comping ½ a meal to ‘make it right’. If this sounds appetizing to you, go ahead and try their food. I can’t say how good or bad our food was, because all I can think about is how I ate almost all of my half when someone’s hair was sitting on the plate it was originally served on and who knows if there was another in the food as well?More
Went here with a girlfriend today and had a very nice lunch. I chose the lamb special and, while I have no doubt if people like lamb they would have enjoyed it, it was a little too gamey for me. Everything with it as far...as condiments and veggies and bread were fantastic though! My girlfriend had the Mediterranean chicken and it looked fantastic and I would probably try that or something else because this place is definitely worth coming back to you. Good service, ambience and fair pricing.More
Heard about this place from our hotel. We had a delicious lunch (BBQ poorboy, chicken flatbread, and two non-alcoholic drinks. Service was quick and friendly. Lunch including tip was $40. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. The only con was the area in which...the restaurant is located. The surrounding area is full of homeless people, at least 30 people sitting around, talking to themselves and smoking. Also, most of the surrounding businesses were closed because it was Sunday or boarded up. I did not feel safe walking from the restaurant to the car.More
A nice patio seating area for you and your pet. We stopped here to eat on way to the redwood national park. Brandi our server was super awesome and nice. I got the Nooner Club which was pretty delicious. I normally like my food spicy....I didn’t add any Tabasco or hot sauce to my sandwich. Definitely a nice place to eat. It’s a hidden gem in downtown Eureka. We would definitely come back!More
I have eaten at this establishment a few times. They have some very good, creatively put together salads. Yes, they have a lot more than that, but for some reason when I think of Café Nooner, salads are the first thing to come to mind....Their burgers are great as well.More

Sorry about that. We are located in Opera Alley in the block bound by 2nd, 3rd, E and F Streets. Opera Alley is marked on E Street between 2nd and 3rd. The City will be placing other Opera Alley signs along its distance in the near future. From HWY 101 South (4th Street) turn right on E. Go 1 block to 3rd & E. Look slightly to the right and you'll see a parking lot. We are located at the top of the lot. I know this won't help you at this point, but hopefully it will next time you're in town.
