I came for the tranquility of Parisian Cafe chair around round tables in the shade of trees next to a water fountain. I ordered the combination of 1/2 Quich and 1/2 Nicoise Salad and made it my main meal of the day: All was light and fresh. I will return w family! There are also seating inside and tempting cakes... Good, long-term staff. Food and bread are by formula so not really creative. Cost of wheat has skyrocketed, so prices are high. Even so, patio is very nice and a fun escape on the weekend. This is the first place we ever ate in Olivenhain before moving here.

Great breakfast options from their daily quiche, egg dishes, metro sandwich is my fav, herbed cheese, tomato, egg on a brioche bun. Stocked bakery case from croissants, napoleons, cookies, cakes, tarts, scones, yum! Always fresh, always delicious

This is one of my favorite places. Needless to say, the pastries are as delicious as they are beautiful. The lemon cookies are my favorite. But also, the entrees are delicious, especially the metro sandwich and the quiche. I wish I could go here more often but that would be really bad for my weight!

This wonderful, small bakery reminds me of the ones we had in my childhood. Many spectacular pastries to choose from all prepared on the premises. I'm a sucker for their multi-layered Napoleon filled with yummy custard. The outdoor seating is peaceful and serene. I took a lady friend there and we both totally enjoyed the experience. I believe you will... More

From the time it open its doors, the Champagne bakery pastries transported you visually to France. Their unspoken promess of a gustatory delight was confirmed at the first bite. Unfortunatly, I cannot say the same things today. The pastries ' quality has been declining steadily throughout the past years, since the bakery has changed owners; also the selections have reduced.... More

My daughter and grandson were treating me to a late breakfast at the Champagne French Bakery Café in Encinitas. You order at the counter and they bring your selections to your table. The coffee is self-service. All our breakfast entrees were excellent and presented well. The outdoor patio tables are very nice. It was a slightly overcast day and just... More
