This place has all the charm you might expect, along with some of the finest food in the city. Locals and tourist alike agree and the place is packed. Come early because the parking lot is always full. There is also parking across Hwy 101 but be careful crossing. You can get fabulous pastries and outrageous Eggs Benedict. The coffees... More

What a cool place, interesting crowd/great people watching, and great food ... I love the raspberry bran muffin. Right on coast highway ... the perfect place to stop for a snack on your bike ride.

Meet your girlfriend, play a game of chess, meditate over coffee or write your novel at Pannikins. A limited menu but fun choices for breakfast and light lunch, or gluten free cookies and muffins. Books and gift items to browse, people to watch, and all around nice ambiance to while away a beautiful afternoon in Encinitas.

Hard to find good coffee in CA little towns. This one got it all, yummy muffins freshly baked and you can chose what kind of coffee you want.

When I first moved to Encinitas from SF I was bemoaning the areas lack of coffee houses. Luckily my veterinarian clued me in on several places. The Pannikin was the first place I went. It's only changed a little bit over the past 15 years. I still meet my friends there all the time. Obviously the coffee is superb along... More

One of my favourite places in the world. Great homemade food and local atmosphere. When I lived in LA I would intentionally leave early just to hang out here for a bit before starting my day. Now I live in Hong Kong and had a conference in San Diego. I still made time to stop.

I've been to this place several times. I find in Pannikin, a good mix of different cultures m: there's a bit of America, something European, and a Eastern touch. Breakfast has alway been very good. Cakes are memorable. The coffee il perfectly brewed. Staff is kind and smiley. I love this place!
