They have the most amazing pastries, pies and of corse coffee. Great local family owned coffee shop. It is in a really cool old train stop building. I highly recommend it and if there is a line, it moves fast and totally worth the short wait. In door and out door seating.

Great coffee roasted there. We stopped there twice on our visit to the coast. I had a non fat latte both times and it was truly the best I've ever had. Fir breakfast I had the bagel with avocado, sprouts, tomatoe, and cream cheese. It was perfectly fresh and tasty! My husband had an omelet that was heavenly. Our second... More

The coffee is good and the cinnamon rolls are decadent. This place can get crowded but it is a quaint nice place to meet a friend for coffee. You stand in line to order so allow enough time.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but love tea. My daughter took us here for some tea and a break from sightseeing. Very cute building, looks like someone's old home, complete with old, creaky stairs. Loved the variety of teas offered for drinking and purchase. There are tables outside which is very nice, but unfortunately the view is right onto highway... More

This place has all the charm you might expect, along with some of the finest food in the city. Locals and tourist alike agree and the place is packed. Come early because the parking lot is always full. There is also parking across Hwy 101 but be careful crossing. You can get fabulous pastries and outrageous Eggs Benedict. The coffees... More

What a cool place, interesting crowd/great people watching, and great food ... I love the raspberry bran muffin. Right on coast highway ... the perfect place to stop for a snack on your bike ride.

Meet your girlfriend, play a game of chess, meditate over coffee or write your novel at Pannikins. A limited menu but fun choices for breakfast and light lunch, or gluten free cookies and muffins. Books and gift items to browse, people to watch, and all around nice ambiance to while away a beautiful afternoon in Encinitas.
