Well, it was "hip". But somewhere between the Barbie Doll heads and the squeezable dinos, I had to roll my eyes. We waited for 30 minutes to even be seated, and the food was decent, but taken as a whole, not worth the time involved. Saw my early 30-something co-worker there with his wife and baby. Wondered, "Do they come... More

Hi, this is Dan w/ Rudy's. I'm very sorry about the wait time. I'll mention this to the mgmt team. Do you recall what time you were there? This will help us narrow down the problem and work on correcting it. More

...stopped to get late dinner after long day of travel. Very slow to non-existent service and not even busy. If not for the hour of day, would have walked out.

Hi, this is Dan and helping with the online reviews. So very about the poor service. We've put in a new process of relaying reviews to mgmt, so that we can identity the weak spots and hopefully earn your trust back. Do you recall any other details that I discuss with the owners and Sr. mgmt. Also please free to... More

Stopped by for dinner with a group of five. Had the Cajun Blue Cheese Burger and it was excellent. The fries are really good! They have a good selection of bottled beers and tap, including Guinness. The atmosphere is basic and a little kitchy, which is cool. Nice size are for inside seating and a great patio for eating outside.... More

I went here for breakfast and had the chorizo and Halapeno scramble which came with Hash browns and toast. A good if somewhat huge breakfast in a very interesting space. My son had an omlette which was so large he only managed to eat half of it. Good well cooked breakfasts with fabulous hash browns.

Good diner like food. Patty melt was great. Great outdoor seating. The pies in the window looked homemade, wish I had tried one:)

Close by to hotels, this looks like nothing from the street but we went for breakfast and it was yummy! Vegetarians will be happy and they have a large amount of food types to pick from. Good service but not cheap, as it is in the Bay Area

I had the Rachael. It was quite tasty. I had a side of greasy sweet potato fries. If you're looking for comfort food. This Diner is a great place to start.

Packed late night. Probably because it is one of the few open places. Omelettes are dry, soups are tasteless and salads are dry. Maybe it's just me. If it wasn't for the convenience, I would rate it 2 stars.

Came here once before with our contractor when we were picking out tile and countertops at Granite Expo around the corner. The service is good for such a busy place (populate with the local lunch crowd apparently) and the food is very good. I live the funky vibe- biggest barbie collection I've ever seen in a diner- and I'm comfortable... More

My "local, townie" diner - love seeing familiar faces and great staff make the dining experience so enjoyable. Solid burger options (I love mushroom Swiss), but also a good variety for breakfast. Cool art on the walls - a namesake in Emeryville/Oakland!
