We ate dinner in the bar grill twice. The fish and fries, chicken basket and onion rings were excellent! We had breakfast in the restaurant one morning. We didn't appreciate paying $11.95/per person for a breakfast buffet that is free at most hotels.

The brunch was $12 and was your basic assortment of food you would expect for a brunch price. No ordering off a menu allowed for breakfast.

Since the motel was full, the restaurant was inundated and while we were offered free soup and salad bar it still took an hour for our sandwiches to come. Our server was attentive and apologetic, and the for was good when it came, but I would suggest going early if they have a full house.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with breakfast, was a Buffett deal that gave us burned bacon, eggs, not many other choices but fruit that was what we ate. Id we wanted juice it would've been more charges, so the following day we drove to mariposa and have an excellent breakfast. Really disappointed, we were at the Red Bun Lodge... More

Oh, curse the lack of cell reception! During a brief period of reception inside the park I had selected the June Bug for dinner on our way out of Yosemite, heading to overnight in Mariposa. But then we drove right by Cedar House and it would save us at 20 minutes, or 35 if we had to go all the... More

After a long hike in Yosemite this place provided a great meal (burger and turkey sandwich with great onion rings!)! We enjoyed the meal even though the prices were higher than average...

We ate here once during our stay in the Cedar Lodge. Bad junk food for a big price. Unfriendly staff. Consider eating somewhere else!

We found our food to be of very poor quality. I would suggest you avoid eating here. Such a shame as so much more could be done with a restaurant in such a lovely location.

Two eating areas serve this hotel a) The Bar - a limited basket type menu food was greasy and served with bendy plastic knife and fork b) The restaurant - the food was better quality but staffing was inadequate for the number of diners. We saw several meals returned to the kitchens.

The service was oké, but having said this, that was about the only positive remark I can write down in this review. The inside looks very dated and the fact that the restaurant was near to empty didn't help. The salad bar was not inviting at all, the soup looked like a cheap broth. We had the porterhouse steak and... More
