A nice drive into the country! About 45 minutes. Had heard about the cafe and to be honest it was our intended destination. Classic country cafe with antiques and unusual items for sale. The food was the main attraction, however. Fish and chips were the...More

Typical diner atmosphere with friendly wait staff and good fish and chips! Not a fancy place but if you want a down home feel then this is the place for you!

You get half way through and it falls apart. Delicious. Love a good sloppy sandwich. :) The cod is deep fried a golden brown, slathered with tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, and served with fries and slaw. Won't weight you down, but keeps you full. Delicious.

The fish sandwich is my favorite also. Cod is one of the best fish. :). Thank you so much for your review, apologies that it took so long for us to find it and respond. Hope to see you again.
