We were visiting family members in the area and this is their go-to dim sum establishment. It's packed on weekends. We ordered a variety of items that are easily found in other dim sum eateries but our most memorable dishes were the durian tart (yes, it's pungent), and a special order of lobster yee mein.

We went here on Father's Day and were careful to arrive at least 20 minutes before opening time to get in line. We were able to be seated immediately upon opening, even though we had a party of ten. Instead of opting for the standard dim sum fare, we ate slowly to be able to take advantage of the many... More

We knew we were in the right space given the long lines waiting for it to open. But this place has two sides and quickly got our table of 14 in to eat. Lots of Asians here and the reason is the food is so good, served in generous portions, and reasonably priced. The staff is fast moving and the... More

Koi Palace is a local favorite for Dim Sum. The place is packed on the weekend but you can always get in with a brief wait. The quality of the food make the wait worth while.

We really like the food here. It's always very crowded, which is unfortunate, but the staff is quite good, and the food is excellent.

Weekends here are crowded and hectic, with rude, exhausted staff attending to your table. Weekdays are much better. There are several very good dishes. A few are not so good. I was excited about the durian puff, but personally didn't like the onion taste they had- was unsure if this was on purpose or buy mistake (fried in the same... More

Very very bad service. We ate there Sunday with my family for dinner. You can see waiters all over the restaurant but no one bother to go to our table to attend our needs. Of course there was just 3 of us. But instead, they give so much attention for other guests. lack of training and respect for customers. I... More

The service was ok, the place is clean, the food though is just ok and expensive from that perspective. Dim sum is not served for dinner which was disappointing. We felt you can do better.

Koi garden is well known amongst the Cali Chinese for their expensive good Dim Sums and dinners and they including my Bostonian turned sister and brother-in-law swore that it is the best Chinese restaurant in Cali. We,from Toronto and Calgary, Canada, all beg to differ. The dim sums were good but not the best and dinners were average, both are... More

Every time I come home to visit the parents, we come here for some dim sum as this place is the best. The line out the doors on weekends speaks to that as well. You should expect a 45-60 min wait at least unless you are a regular and know one of the managers. The dim sum is some of... More
