We had brunch at this restaurant on a cold winter day and found this place to be a good choice for families. They had a good selection of breakfast entrees like waffles, pancakes, omelettes etc. The service was ok.

Good selection of menu items. Plenty of high chairs. Stick with the pizzas, sandwiches. Servers were attentive. Looking for a quiet romantic dinner with fine wine? Look elsewhere.

Went hear by a recommendation from the hotel. More a diner than an Italian restaurant. Food was mediocre. Gnocchi was too soft and mushy.

Paid $70 (with tip) for an antipasta plate. It was a 12 inch plate with one row of food (see photo)...when I told the host that it was a rip off, he didn't say anything. Not I'm sorry, let me put some more meat on it...thank goodness they are near Safeway! I added $25 of meat, which was 4 x what was given. I have eaten here many times and have watched everything go downhill. Bad pizzas, bad food.....that's the last time they rip me off! Go elsewhere....

My wife and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for many years. Our usual order is a large Stromboli pizza. When they make this pizza, the ingredients are plentiful and delicious. We also love the crust, which is usually light and fluffy but with a crispy outer texture on the bottom. A couple of weeks ago we went for dinner and made our usual order. But, when it came we noticed the dough for the pizza was not as good as it usually was. It had a soggy, chewy texture and appeared to be over-cooked on the bottom. We chalked this up to an aberration and went on our way. Today, we returned for lunch and placed our usual order. When the pizza came, it was clear this was a substandard pizza. Instead of the full thick crust, it was flat and unappealing. Almost like a thin crust pizza. We tried to eat it, but it had a texture like 3-day-old bread. It was very chewy and dense with no hint of the crispy exterior we were used to. The bottom of the pizza was dark and looked over cooked. This was simply unacceptable, particularly for a $35 pizza. We complained to the manager and she gave us $2 off our order. My wife is a chef and she told me what appeared to have happened was the dough had been under-proved (proofed). Under-proving dough means that it’s not given enough chance to rise to its full potential, so the end result is likely to be a flat dense loaf with a poor crumb structure. Under-proved bread has a very tight crumb structure which clumps together when squeezed, whereas bread which is proved well has a good bounce and will spring back when squeezed. As I said earlier, we have been coming here for years. In fact, we have brought all of our out-of-town relatives and friends here raving about how good the pizza is. But this issue with the pizza dough is very concerning. Having it occur once is no big deal. But, now it looks like this might be a trend. We will give them one more chance in the next couple of weeks. But, if it happens again, we are done with them.

We shared a deluxe extra large everything you could imagine on a pizza house special and it was very good. The dough was reminiscent of Toto's Pizza in Daly City in my youth. Fairly thick crust to stand up to all those toppings and a very nice tomato based sauce that was nicely proportioned to the pie. I'd go back there any time; might even try something other than pizza, but probably not!

In the area for work staying at nearby hotel and decided to walk over to get a take out pizza. I ordered the Tina's Too Too Much pizza which is loaded with toppings and too too much for 1 pizza to eat alone. The pizza was good,I have had better and I have had worse.

The pizza is good and service is good too. Cannot say it's the best pizza I've tasted but it's above average. Service is good. The place feels more like and American food restaurant. Just sitting there you don't feel like at an italian food place, so they could do better with the decoration.

This is a terrific authentic Italian restaurant. The food is excellent and the waitstaff are amazing. The wine list includes the best Chianti you could drink.

Stopped by here on our way home from the airport. We were seated pretty fast and drinks brought soon after. Food was ok what you would expect for Italian. After we received our food we were pretty much on our own. Had to flag another waiter down for more bread and had to get the hostess for our check. Maybe it was to close to closing time for great service. Overall not a notable experience.

I've been patronizing this Italian restaurant for years and have tried nearly everything on the menu and have to give it 4 stars or come when it's less crowded. It has a great reputation for the quality and authenticity that they richly deserve.

Every year we participate in the Scottish Highland Games in Pleasanton Ca on Labor Day weekend. Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Dublin Ca for that weekend and after a long day we decided to walk to this restaurant because of the parking situation at the hotel. As we approached we didn’t see many cars in their parking lot on a Friday night holiday weekend which made us wonder but we were there so we continued on, we did notice an woman looking at us from inside the restaurant an employee, hostess. We joked to ourselves that she may think that we’re homeless because we were walking as we entered. We stood inside for several minutes, there were very few customers and lots of staff, after what seemed like an eternity an you woman approached us as she did she was looking around, ( for the hostess) apologized for the wait and seated us, we received a bread basket, and water but no menus, the time was 7:15pm. By now more people started arriving with small families, we joked that we had come just in time to be ahead of them. The new customers were seated as we were but were given menus and proceeded to order, at about 7:35, ( the time slipped by, we were talking about the days events ) food for the new customers began to arrive, I stopped a waiter and asked for a menu, he apologized and asked who had seated us, I pointed to the young woman but also told him about the hostess who was now staring at me from across the room, the waiter told the manager who approached the hostess and was apparently questioning her, he pointed to us and she looked our way, I gave her “ the look “. By this time my wife was ready to leave but I insisted that we stay, the people around us were aware of the situation and visibly uncomfortable. We received our meals the food was good not the best. As we left I walked up to the hostess an black woman ( the only minority working there at that day ) and said “ so you forgot us” she actually tried to ignore me, so I said “ I’m talking to you” then she looked at me and my wife, I said “ we saw you in the window when we arrived but then you disappeared, and that was very rude” she didn’t reply, some of the staff were looking, and as I walked away I said “ My people, how embarrassing “ , because you see we are a interracial couple and I am black. We from time to time encounter this, what would you have done ?
