Nice stopping point on your way to high desert. Breakfast egg and cheese sandwich was delicious. Staff is friendly.

Food was alright. Nothing knocked my socks off. Have been there for breakfast lunch and dinner. Nightly dinner specials are a great deal. Service was alright.

This used to be a great place but new management has not maintained the same quality of food that we were accustomed to

:( maybe its more of a bar than restaurant. We went in for dinner about 6pm and only two people sitting at the bar in the whole place. Burger was gross:( they didn't have ranch. I notice they have many community meetings here..members of the community are still trying to hold on to this OLD establishment. Lots of old city... More

Yummy comfort food is what Sidewinder is all about. We arrived in the afternoon and my husband and I truly savored our breakfast and open-faced sandwich offerings. They serve diner coffee at its best!

I've lived in DHS for 6 years and tried this place out as it always seemed popular with the locals. I was really disappointed. First of all it's run down and not particularly clean. Secondly, disappointed to see one of the servers outside smoking on the way in. Staff seems a little hurried. They were advertising Greek food outside which... More

So, what's a Haboob? It's a giant dust cloud caused by weird weather patterns. If you ever saw The Mummy with Brendan Fraser, and you see a giant dust cloud with a face of an evil Mummy....it's that. Except no evil mummy. What we do have is a very tasty Patty Melt for me and a huge Sidewinder Omelette for... More

This place usually messes up all orders and can even be abominable at times, but it will probably never be shut down since it is and has been the chosen location for certain weekly service club and private group gatherings. The restaurant shows a lot of wear and tear and good use a good cleaning, but die-hards from the olden... More

The Sidewinder is DELICIOUS! They have big breakfasts that are to die for. They also have a plethora of other wonderful items on the menu. One of my favorite things about Sidewinder besides the food is the nostalgic photos of DHS from the 50's and up! I recommend the Sidewinder hightly!

Needs a makeover. Not very impressed. Other gave good reviews, not sure why. Seats were torn up. Server was not very pleasant. Food nothing great. Looked dirty. priced high for a rundown cafe.
