I was looking for a small and upscale (yet affordable) Italian restaurant close to our hotel and this one is a gem. We sat outside and had a terrific view of the mountains. The service was attentive and friendly and the food top notch. I had a delectable beef carpaccio for an appetizer and veal in a creamy saffron sauce... More

Went with family on a Sunday night. Restaurant offered 15% off food. Ordered fried calamari - serving size for $15 was extremely small and the calamari tasted old. Ordered special cannelloni dish - I felt pasta was way to thick and entire dish was under seasoned. Other family members food was under seasoned too - both pasta dishes. I would... More

We went to this restaurant last night with our granddaughter. Ordered Caesar salad and Eggplant Parm. Took over an hour to get our dinner which was undercooked and mushy. Other tables ordered after us and received their dinners before we did. Nice waiter but lousy food. We won't be back, ever.

Tucked away off Carmel Valley road...blink and you'll miss it. But wonderful food...cozy atmosphere and the view was nice as well.

Slipped in during there last hour of business and ordered Gluten- free penne pasta with marinara. It tastes like they make their own marinara sauce- so good! The place is cute, really. 11 tables inside and about a half dozen tables in the patio, in a fairly quiet area. The service was great- prompt. Nice place for a romantic date.

This is a very small and quaint Italian Restaurant. Make sure you do not make our mistake and try to go without a reservation. We went on a Friday night and it was busy. We understood it was our fault for not having called ahead for a reservation so we were happy to take a seat in the porch area.... More

Coming from Chicago where there is large variety of great Italian restaurants, this one gives them all a run for the money. It has a small family run atmosphere and the staff is great. Highly recommend if your in the San Diego area. A little off the beaten path but well worth it. Delicious food, fantastic staff, and well priced!

This is a neighborhood restaurant in a beautiful setting across from the lagoon near Torrey Pines Beach. My husband and I split the avocado crabmeat salad in a light lemon dressing. The portion was ample and it was filling. My husband ordered spaghetti with meatball. I chose the chicken marsala with fresh vegetables. Everything was perfect. One vegetable was creamed... More

My wife and I recently had dinner at the Trattoria Ponte Vecchio with friends. It was our first visit, though our friends had eaten there several times previously. I loved the ambience - very much like a small café in Italy. Our waitress was from Italy and was very attentive. We enjoyed crab cakes for an appetizer and several pasta... More

Really nice local Italian restaurant. We have had great food all 3 times we have been there and the staff is helpful and friendly. I can recommend the truffle pasta, the clam sauce pasta, the gnocci, and more!
