A bit pricey but the fish was delicious and the view was amazing. Great clam chowder also. Was a very nice experience.

We ate at Harpoon Henry's while on vacation in California. It is the only place I have seen that has calamari steaks. They were delicious!!! All of our food was delicious. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was very friendly. My kids took forever to order and she answered all of their questions with a smile and patience. The restaurant... More

All upstairs dining is indoors, a negative for me. No other downsides. Pricing very competitive for Dana Point harbor, but food variety, preparation, and service are good. Wait staff are young, but obviously trained and capable. Quality of experience has NOT DEGRADED in decades. We eat here nearly every year. Worth a visit.

Happy hour menu is served upstairs only. The room is huge and the atmosphere is upscale & fun. So the food portion of this review is about what we always order: The calamari dinner, fish & chips and house margaritas (great) ALL are on the happy hour menu for almost half price and the portions are very generous! If you... More

Wonderful spot for harborside dining at this well established Dana Point location. Open for both lunch and dinner. Very good and nicely presented entrée selections with the emphasis on seafood of course. Good selection of appetizers, soups, and salads. Full bar and wine list. Reasonable prices for coastal Southern California. Plenty of convenient off street parking. Recommended for your enjoyment.

We went to dinner on a Monday night. We didn't have any wait- which was nice and our table had a great view of the harbor. Our waiter was quick and precise. The food though is pricey and Ho hum. My daughter ordered the petite filet mignon- cooked to perfection at medium rare. However- it was covered in some kind... More

Most of the food items on Harpoon Henry's menu are good, not great. The calamari, however, is outstanding. I order it almost every time I go there. They have delicious aioli sauce and good garlic bread too.

You don't HAVE to sit out on the covered Marina side patio...you "could" opt for a table inside bar side...but if the sun shines and the gentle breezes blow, and if you're in no big hurry and enjoy good food, great service, and people gawking? Grab a patio table. I spoke of service: all I saw of the many staff... More

I have been coming here for years. Had my rehearsal dinner here 5 years ago, and they still continue to impress. High quality seafood, great service, and superb location.
