I took my wife on our anniversary and she loved it. Make a reservation and get a window seat overlooking the Dana Point Harbor. Located up on the bluff, great views day or night. Excellent good, wine, valet and serving service. Been there many times and it's good for any occasion, but can also be a great romantic spot to... More

We had a wonderful experience at The Chart House. We had reservations for 11:45 which were hard to come by. Unfortunately when we got in our car it had a flat. I called and asked if they could arrange a table for us at a later time. They told us we could get a 12:30. Everything was perfect from the... More

Has a spectacular view of the Dana Point Harbor and Pacific Ocean from the outdoor patio/terrace. We had reservations for a table for 7 inside but switched to outdoors when our five "20 something" guests saw the view. Seafood was good. Drinks were fun. Restaurant itself is a bit dated, but you can't beat the view.

My opinion of the Chart House has improved since my last review. After visiting several times over the last couple of years with mainly average or above average dinners, I finally can report a 5 star dinner. One of us had the Lobster, the other the whole Wok'd fish(Snapper- and wow was it good), $42 and $45 respectively. Add $9... More

Our hotel recommended this and was easy walk. It is a round building with almost 360 views. The food was excellent albeit expensive but we are members of Landry club so we used our birthday certificate to soften the blow. It sits high on a cliff overlooking harbor which is quite lovely!

Had a dinner here with a large private group. The food was solid and what you would expect from a high end place..though it did not wow in the least. What was disappointing and shocking was the lack of manners by the waitstaff..fingers in salad plates, fingers in deserts, and food being thrown around the room almost. You would expect... More

This is a great happy hour spot overlooking the Dana Point harbor. Get there by 4:30 to get a good seat. They have many appetizers under $8. I recommend the sliders.

When you want to have a happy hour drink and or appitizer or just choose from a varied menu, and enjoy a beautiful view of the Dana Point Harbor, this is it. The only challange is finding a parking spot on the street, because their lot is always full, if you get there at the peak time. The service may... More

Fantastic view of Dana Harbor. The night we were there we watched the super moon rise over the hills of Irvine. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had spinach salad and prime rib and both were amazing! We had a family gathering and we never felt rushed through the meal. Highly recommend this place!
