It appears to be a typical Japanese restaurant when you walk in but one look at the menu tells you this is going to be different. Beautiful presentation and fantastic flavors. A really interesting fusion of Italian & Japanese food.

This little Japanese restaurant serves typical Japanese lunch menu and creative dish conniving with Japanese ingredients such as Uni (sea urchin) spaghetti. The place is very small, and do not take reservation. Be aware of a line, especially at lunch time!!

The black cod at a highly rated and expensive Japanese restaurant at Caesar's in Vegas was good. However, we found a better version right in our neighborhood in Cypress for half the price! Cypress may be known as hometown of erstwhile golf wonder Tiger Woods and for foodies, the US HQ of House Foods (Curry House, ubiquitous tofu packages sold... More

Wonderful find. Staff was very friendly. Their most popular dishes are the sea bass, pork cutlet, hamburger steak and the uni spaghetti. The salad, soup and spaghetti were all delicious. I texted a friend pictures of my meal and they happened to be in the neighborhood and dropped by for lunch while we were there. They also enjoyed the food.

A unique cuisine from the amazing mind of Chef Hiro. Risotto with sea urchin, a fruit based curry and tasty soups of the day are all highlights.

Love this place whenever I visit familybfrom Virginia. Pastas, steaks, Osso Buco and fish with a Japanese twist. Try the uni pasta, scallop carpaccio and miss butterfish. Also, take advantage of the $10 corkage? A must try when in Cypress, Ca. Near Katella and Valley View.

We've been going to this restaurant for years and it's consistently good in quality of food and customer service. You can't tell from the outside or the location that this restaurant is a little on the hip and artsy side. The Chilean sea bass is the best, cooked to perfection! We've only been here for dinner though. It's one of... More

The restaurant is known for "uni spagheti", which is a must-try. The spagheti is done just right, not too soft nor too hard. The sauce is flavorful and of the right consistency. It's thick enough to coat the spagheti strand yet not sticky or junky. I had scallop risotto which is also excellent. The scallop is fresh and the sauce... More

Unique decor. Delicious food with a flair of Japanese essence! The soups are always very tasty! Go early for lunch; gets crowded quickly. Worth a try!
