Unfriendly host at entry, Wobbly table, that could not be fixed since it was a fold out to accommodate party of 6. Slow and robotic service Mediocre food Sky high prices ( 12$ for 5 asparagus sprigs over 45$ for overcooked filet mignon All in all over a 1000$ for a dinner for 5 people) No Athmosphere Very noisy Dark... Alexander's used to be a real dining experience...Now it looks like it is mass production but at the same rates! :( Food was good, but the atmosphere is missing... Not worth the money anymore!

This is a painful review to write. I am actually in mourning for this new Alexander in Cupertino. I was there when Alexander first opened about 10 years ago on Wolfe road. It used to be an event whenever we go there, it was a given that you would be taken care of, food great and service will be impeccably... More

We got the wedge salad (split) followed by the bone in filet for me and the prime rib for him. We shared the mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and mushroom sides. The service was good if a little slow at times. I think this is a place that wants you to relax and take your time and we were good... More

You can't find a wider variety of high quality beef (who knew there were so many types of Wagyu!) and well prepared and plated sides. Hamachi shots are a great way to start the meal. Terrific service, plenty of parking (yes there IS a parking garage). Prices are high - so prepare for that (and very spotty wifi!)

Excellent steaks; great choice of different prime American meats and lots of side dishes available. Service was great and friendly and we enjoyed our meal throughout.

Yes, it is expensive, but the best of the best usually is. I couldn't afford to eat here every night, but it is an AMAZING special occasion restaurant. Every single thing about this place is first class, starting with our server, Ben. He patiently explained all the different types of Wagyu beef and helped us pick one that fit our... More

Have been coming here on special occasions for several years, one of my favorite places to indulge. Definitely need a fat wallet to dine here, but service and quality of food is worth the splurge once-in-a-while. I love the Prime Rib, which they served with a variety of flavored horseradish garnishes. Steak was tasty and tender! I've also had some... More

World class restaurant with exceptional food. The real Japanese Kobe beef was extraordinary and very expensive, but worth it for a once in a lifetime experience. Desserts were creative and beautiful. Highly recommended, but bring plenty of $$$.

My husband suggested this to celebrate my birthday. I thought it would be 'just another steak place.' And, yes, if you are in a hurry, it may not work for you. But I definitely felt taken care of. The waiters are very well trained and can answer all sorts of questions about the menu, especially the Japanese beef! My steak... More
