Walking around the very upscale neighborhood of Culver City (not far from Sony Studios), I came across Honey's Kettle. I had the blackened catfish with rice and gravy and their signature Corn Off The Cob. I also had a leg of delicious fried chicken and a homemade biscuit. Awesome. The food is so good. Fresh, tasty and reasonable. Would definitely... More

There always seems to be a line, but this is worth the wait. The food is fresh and the fried chicken is superb. The staff does their best to keep things moving along, but great food takes a bit more time. I found the young man at the counter to be especially patient and helpful. The fried chicken is crispy... Honey's Kettle has been voted the Best Fried Chicken in Los Angeles by countless publications and it's true! The batter is tasty and crunchy, to die for! As for their biscuits, they are almost a meal in itself! Fluffy and square, they come with honey and butter. You can order blueberry pancakes, too! Great fries, too! If you crave fried... More

Yet another little gem in Culver City! The fried chicken here was delicious! Perfectly crispy on the outside but still juicy and tender meat on the inside! The flavor was also great! The biscuits were soooo good! Just deliciously flaky and buttery! Even their kettle fries were great! I'm so glad we tried this place! My boyfriend was disappointed we... More

As a guy from South Carolina, I KNOW fried chicken! I have never ate it often, but have always appreciated those who know how to make a fantastic fried chicken. Honey's Kettle is such a place! The crust is crunchy and slightly sweet and the meat is well-cooked, but still moist and succulent! The biscuits and fixins' (as we say... More

Who would have thought this Southerner would find excellent fried chicken in California. The biscuits with the hot honey was fantastic. Never thought I would compliment rice and gravy, but the gravy (with bits of chicken) was delicious. Could have used more gravy for the amount of rice. Outside seating was nice for our family. Would definitely visit again when... More

My wife and I love this place. It is some of the best fried chicken we have ever had. The batter is light and crispy, the chicken is always tender and juicy, and the mashed potatoes and gravy are to die for. I am a serious gravy aficionado and their chicken gravy is peerless. The only negative I have experienced... More

I never thought that after being raised in Georgia that I'd go to LA for some of the best fried chicken anywhere. It's nicely battered but not overdone and too heavy. The outside is crisp and the inside is tender and moist. They know how to do fried chicken here.. Not fancy but it sure is good!
