Great authentic Cuban food and drinks. Generous servings, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Will sample again on return for several other dishes. Highly recommended

Went to El Rincon Criollo with a friend and was blown away by the selection. Nearly a full page of fish items on the menu - with separate sections for beef, pork, chicken and vegetarian. I opted for the chicken and pork combination plate. I couldn't finish it - the rice, beans and platanos are also very good.
I can't vouch for the cocktails but they have several beers by the bottle to choose from.

I like to experiment and try one of the Cuban dishes when I dine there. This place has a convenient location on a main street near both the Culver City no. 6 bus line and the San Diego 405 Freeway.

My husband wanted to go there because it was once owned by a Cuban kid he went to school with family. So they sold ( to bad) first of all the background music was really weird? Next what I ordered was a safe bet and was ok. My husband ordered roast leg of pork from a server that didn’t know what it was and he had to show her on the menu. When his food arrived it was sliced fried pork. Hard and tough. We struck up a conversation with a man who came in that had been there 15 years ago and was wondering why he hadn’t come back? He placed his order for pork chops and 15 kin after he placed the order they told him they didn’t have pork chops?! He said give me whatever, but no rice! They brought him shredded pork and rice n beans. Lol he said now I know why I didn’t come back!

This is a neighborhood restaurant in Culver City on busy Sepulveda Blvd. It tries for a festive atmosphere with fishing nets and plastic crustaceans and photos and pictures of Cuba (but it's definitely not fancy and does not try to be more than a good place to go for a reasonably priced meal). There is a small patio out front which is great if you have dogs with you. It's a favorite lunch spot for us. I don't know how authentic the food is, but we get consistently good food for a low price. My favorite is the Pollo Asada which comes with rice and black beans and platoons. They also have a barley soft drink called Malta which is another Cuban import (if you want the full experience). The portions are generous and the wait staff are friendly.

Small restaurant with wonderful food and friendly service. We've had takeout with friends, and loved it. And my wife and I had lunch here twice, sitting at one of the outside tables, and we've really enjoyed the meals. You can't pass up the pork dishes, all of which are fully flavored and wonderfully tender. Lechon asado is my favorite, but I've had the oxtail and I love the yucca. I don't usually eat rice and beans, as they're largely disposable add-ons. Not here, though. The rice and beans are yummy, and shouldn't be missed. Great value/

As a Cuban this is one of the worst Cuban Restaurants I have ever visited this is what they "want to be" Cuban Food. Having traveled to Florida, Chicago, Arizona, Los Angeles and eaten at good Cuban restaurant this is by far the lowest rated I have ever been to. if you like this food you have never had good Cuban food. the food is cold, tasteless and the taste you expect from certain foods like croquetas, tamales, arroz con pollo is definetly not there. Avoid this place and look for other Cuban restaurants.

The buzz all over town is El Rincon Criollo. I had been years ago and didn't like it. I went back a few months ago and it was worse. I ordered chicken and got a piece of a breast that was dry and overcooked. The rice and beans seemed old or stale. I am not giving this place another try, go to Versailles if you want real Cuban food.

The food is incredibly authentic, and the portions are generous. Reasonably priced, kitchy ambiance with art work from Cuba for sale. My "go to" dish is the lechon asado (pork roast) with moros and platanos verdes (tostones). Also love the yuca frita! My son swears by the "pan con lechon" (pork roast) sandwich! And my daughter goes nuts for the pollo empanizado (breaded chicken). My husband loves their soups, and everything else on the menu. Attentive servers, and very casual vibe. Love this place!

Four Words: Delicious Food. Poor Service. My favorite: El Rincon's Garlic Chicken with rice - scrumptious!!. It's what I always order. I used to eat inside the small restaurant, but the negative service that would tick me off. I either received the wrong food, or the server had a bad attitude. BUT the food is delicious, so I only order take out. I always check the food order before I leave, because sometimes they get the order wrong.

This tiny, home-style restaurant has authentic, delicious Cuban food. The paella is perfect, one of many dishes on an extensive menu. The ambiance is down-home, almost like being in someone's kitchen in Havana, nothing fancy, just real. There are posters and paintings of Cuba on the walls, and you feel almost as if you are there.

I love this "Corner" restaurant. The food is authentic (I'm native Cuban), and so is the kitschy vibe. I love that I can have fresh coconut water with my meal. They will stick a straw and an umbrella in a coconut on ice. The wait staff are great - it feels like a family restaurant. The wall art comes straight from Cuba. Order the plantain chips with garlic dipping sauce. You won't be disappointed. This is the only place where I can get a plantain omelet! My mom loves the "Arroz con Pollo (Chicken & Rice)"...The steak fried Chicken is awesome. The sweet plantains are always perfectly fried. It's a little slice of heaven.

This was the largest sandwich I had ever encounter...it filled the platter and was so delish.
Let's see, ham, melted cheese, pickel & & & all on a wonderful freshly baked bun. Our table on the sidewalk out front was comfortable and the service was indulgent. Yes, I plan to return.
