Situated in a small storefront next to a 7-11 convenience store, CHARM is easy to overlook... Until you try the food, that is. Creative, beautiful, and very tasty culinary creations abound in this small casual restaurant, accompanied by the biggest cup of coffee I've ever...been served (also tasty). I discovered their Avocado Toast on my first visit, so I keep going back for that, but my friends have ordered other dishes and have been equally delighted. I'd call this a mid-priced restaurant ($$).More

We ate a late lunch here in November 2017. The location is not attractive; it is next to a busy laundromat in a very small strip mall at the corner of Vincent Avenue and Badillo Street in Covina. I am glad that we did not...let the location prejudice us. It is a small place, but not claustrophobic. The waitress was hospitable, friendly, and serious about getting our orders taken, and our food delivered to the table. Four of us each had a different entree. From the breakfast menu (which is offered all day), one of us had the steak and eggs. It was a perfectly-cooked eight-ounce piece of steak with two eggs, plus a fruit side dish. The fruit was just right - not over- or under-ripe. One of us had the cheeseburger; another had a fried-chicken sandwich. Each of these came with a delicious side dish of mashed fingerling-potatoes-and-cauliflower. The fourth person in our party had the flat bread. She also ordered a side dish of roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon which we all shared. Everyone was highly pleased with their food. The waitress mentioned that there are plans to extend the menu; we are looking forward to trying their new offerings. We will be eating here again, without a doubt.More
