Sam caught us on the street when we first drove in to this dusty gold rush town. He's the guy you want to talk to. He knows everything about the merchants and can go on about the history. We were drawn to his friendly demeanor...More

We got pizza which was yummy and shared a beer on draft. The saloon is unique with a lot of stuff displayed of old days gone by. The people were very friendly and the bar tender was most helpful

We stopped totally randomly in Coulterville on our way back from Yosemite National Park. This Gold Rush town on highway 49 is a hidden nugget, with old hotels, shops, an old mine locomotive and... the Magnolia Saloon! We just had a drink there and it...More
