This establishment is equally a restaurant and a fish market. The fish in the market always looks fresh and appetizing. In the restaurant, the offerings are limited, but what is offered is quite good. For travelers, this place is on 17th. If you are driving up Newport, away from the beach, you would turn right onto 17th. This would be... More

Everything here is literally fresh off the boat. A wide array of fresh catch is available and you can even sit here and have it prepared right then and there. I love the clam chowder and the fish fillets presented that day are scrumptious!

After reading the previous reviews, we had high hopes for this place. We're from across the country and wanted some great seafood. The bread was tasteless, the Lobster Roll sandwich and both Clam Chowder soups all tasted like they were from a can or plastic tub, and the Swordfish sandwhich was was very thin and bland. Just those items and... More

This is the Orange County outlet of the famous seafood fishmonger and it lives up to its heritage. Cases of fresh fish and shellfish, oyster bar and restaurant. We ate lunch and it was expensive ($60 for 2) but the fish was fresh, excellently prepared and worth it.

The place to get a fresh fish dish or fish to go for home prepping. I love to get sashimi grade fish and enjoy it at home.

It's an intimate busy little place...we always look forward to a bit of wine, raw Fanny Bays on the shell and the tasty Fish Chowder with crusty bread...yummmmm! We order out too.

When you walk in there is an amazing fish counter - so big it has just about every type of fish and shellfish available for sale to take home and cook. The fish looked very, very fresh. We stopped by for lunch. We sat outside in an enclosed patio area. The service was very good. I really enjoyed the steamed... More

The restaurant was clean and the fish were beautifully displayed. The gentleman that assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The fish I bought was used for Fish Tacos that were delicious. I'll be back!
