I was taken to La Cave by local business partners. It is dark and looks like a 60's / 70's underground jazz hangout, less the cigarette smoke! The hostess was very direct and forthright, with a great sense of humor. There was four of us...More

La Cave is really a flash back. It's in the lower level of a commercial building. Take the elevator down and exit into the restaurant which is dark & lighted with red lights. You'll likely be taken to a plush booth, just don't hit your...More

Downstairs and dark. Good service and food. Booths could be a big larger. Tight quarters for four diners.

I was told this was a John Wayne hangout many years ago. I definitely could see the Duke sitting in this dark cave like atmosphere having drinks and steak. Very unique place in the basement. 5 of us ate in quiet private corner booth. Our...More

I thought that this would be an interesting and unique dining experience, since you have to take an elevator down to the "cave". In fact, it was an interesting and unique experience, but for all the wrong reasons. Far from being an intimate and romantic...More

This restaurant reminds me of an old school Las Vegas style place. It's not called the cave for nothing. When you walk in, you immediately walk downstairs; underground. There are no menus, so the server brings over a display tray to show off the steaks...More
