It has a very nice buffet with tasty organic cooked foods. I really enjoyed it and I can say that I liked it better than the buffets in Whole Foods. During my stay in Costa Mesa, I ate at Mother's market and Kitchen three times and I would go there again!

Went here for breakfast and had the Huevos Rancheros with two medium over eggs and guac on the side. The eggs were cooked well and the whole dish came together very nicely on top of the good corn tortillas. The guac wasn't the best I ever had, but it was good nonetheless. After, went shopping, and picked up a few... More

After reading the previous good to great reviews about Mothers, I decided to give it a try. The cafe is in the back of the supermarket so be aware when u walk into the storefront and see isles and refrigerators of food. Back to the cafe.... I am not a big vegan so finding some things to get excited about... More

First went to Mother's in 1979. My how it's changed over time! It's evolved in so many ways, and the restaurant is no exception. Their menu is mostly organic and designed for good healthy eating, but the food is not fringy as many meat eaters might want to think. Big juice bar selection. A nice selection of breakfast and lunch... More

Mother's is one of my favorite places to visit when in Southern California. I always make sure I get there for their great products as well as have a meal and/or juice drink from the Kitchen during my visit. We visited Mother's recently and had breakfast between a walk on the beach and a trip to the gym. I had... More

Almost any vegan or vegetarian dish can be made gluten free or any vegetarian or gluten free dish made to be vegan. I really enjoyed the vegetarian tacos I ordered as well as the custom fruit smoothie (coconut water, pineapple and strawberry) I imbibed. The cobb salad was also delicious. This restaurant is inside a market which also boasts a... More

If you want to savor something light and pleasing to the palate, visit the cafe located inside the market. They offer a wide variety of healthy snacks, food and beverages.

If you're really into healthy foods you should check out this market. Lots of interesting things to purchase. I use them primarily for my bulk oatmeal, granola and nut purchases. Good prices and a nice staff.

I've loved Mother's since it was at the old location over on 17th street. It's just as good today with wonderful dinner selections at reasonable prices. My only reluntance on going to dinner there is getting out of the store without spending a fortune. My wife always seems to need a "few" items from the shelves. A dinner that was... More

Busy, but fast service. Excellent fresh deli food. Amazing smoothie/juice bar. Reasonable prices. Don't miss the Living Hummus Wraps in the deli!
