Walked in without a reservation (party of 5) for lunch. It was busy but we were seated in 10 minutes. The main dining area can be a bit noisy but to too much. The service was good. Our waiter was very friendly. The food was great but the portions are a bit smaller than other restaurantes. Menu is very elaborate... More

Stopped in for lunch. Tried the staff's suggestions for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Seasonal flatbread and a salad was great.

Made reservations, looked at elaborate menu, we decided to make an evening out of it even though it was on the noisy side. Food was adequate, may be according to CA taste for busy, loud and noisy restaurants. If looking for a fast serving, do not mind the noise, this is the place to be. Turned out more fun that... More

Excellent food. Smaller portions. Fun to order several and share with the table. Nice wine list and variety of cocktails. Desserts are fun. Music was really loud; even our server noticed and she asked that it be turned down. Made for a nicer experience.

They serve what is in season at the time. The meals are very tasty and unique. The desert samplers are awesome too. Fun to go with friends and try different dishes family style.

I love this place. Great staff, great music (a live piano player), and great food! They also have a great wine selection. Just to emphasize how great the staff is my girl friend and I ate at the bar once and I returned 1 year later and the waitress at the bar remembered both of us. Also, the food changes... More

Generally I have low expectations for any restaurant located in a mall, but this place is very good. Starting with a cocktail: the Old-Fashioned was tasty and good-sized. The beet salad was delightful. The scallops entree was very nicely done: grilled crisp on the outside without being over-cooked. I ate at the bar and service was a little slow since... More

The premise of this restaurant is to cook seasonally. And they deliver on that premise. Good food. Presentation is important. Service was fabulous. Stephanie was right on top of everything, including getting us out the door on time for a concert. We had: short rib flatbread, cheese fondue, tuna crunch salad, pear burrata board, nantucket scallops, lamb shank, and their... More

It's always a treat to come here, especially when you are already at South coast Plaza. We had a late lunch reservation (1 PM) and were able to enjoy a sumptuous lunch and talk for 2.5 hours without being rushed. Can't wait for the next time we come here.

Fun place to sit outside ( they have heaters) and watch the shoppers go by. Amazing wine list and good small plates for sharing. Wait staff very good but make a reservation during the holidays.
