First time visiting and found recommendations from several sources. The calamari was excellent and the soup served hot and flavorful. Nice setting and clean. Try the Mythos beer 😇friendly staff. We will be back
Spiros is a sfast-casual model - order at counter and sit inside or at the patio, overlooking San Diego Bay. Local brews including Coronado Brewing Company options. Fairly extensive Greek menu, generous portions and delicious...over last few days, had the beef/lamb gyros, chicken gyros and...a huge Greek salad with pita and tzatziki sauce. We've also tried several entrees. Given somewhat limited dining options on island, given the view, value and yummy factor, I'd definitely recommend this. Also, catering is terrific - same quality, generous portions and everyone loves the combo gyros and sides. Music on Friday nights in season.More
We love authentic Greek food and love dining overlooking water. Spiro's fills the bill. This is a small "order at the counter" cafe in the Ferry Landing area. Easy free parking. Both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking San Diego Bay. The star here is the...food. Everything we had was delicious. The pita bread is fresh and served warm. The lunch and dinner platters come with a choice of sides. The Greek salad was a big hit as was the marinated chicken on a stick. Some beers available. Save room for dessert. Looking forward to a return visit.More
What a great, quick bite. I ended up eating here about 3 times over 2 weeks during my stay. Quality Greek cuisine with a great setting where you can sit outside by the ferry and look at downtown San Diego.
