I went for the fish tacos. It was late and they were out. Instead had beef and chicken tacos. Both very good. Service was great and the ambiance was total 'short order house' which made it a fun dining experience for me. It is counter...More

Stopped in here for a quick carnitas taco after a day of shopping. Delicious and fast! Getting a seat can be a problem during the peak hours. Be prepared to get your food to go.

At a conference a Hotel del Coronado. This place is an easy 20 minute walk. Small cafe with counter, back counter and a few outdoor seats. Large breakfast with fresh ingredients. Coffee is hot and the juice is cold. Good service and a great breakfast.

The hugest omelettes on the planet!! Counter seats (about 12) make for an intimate meal with your neighbors. Just loved this place that dates back to 1929!

My daughter and I were on vacation on Coronado/SanDiego, this was our 4th place to eat breakfast. It was by far the best food, excellent service. Just watching the cook was entertainment. Small diner, wonderful. French toast was AMAZING!

Description
This is a small diner, that has been in business since 1929, the Esquer family has owned it since 1996, we have 20 seats and the counter surrounds a flat-top grill and vintage hood that was salvaged off a ship more than 100 years old. You watch your found being cooked by one person, depending on what cook you get your food will get to you fast or...not so fast but will always be delicious!. Weekend mornings are the busiest and we are open late, Friday and Saturday Nights till 4am.
