A throw back to good old times in service, quality and atmosphere. Very crowded for breakfast, deservedly so, don't skip it for lunch and dinner. A jewel!

Unchanged for the 1950"s, or that is the way it seems, if you got to Coronado more than once you should eat here.

We ate breakfast twice at Clayton's Coffee Shop while we were in Coronado. The food was delicious with quite a variety. Prices are very reasonable.Homemade hash browns were the best. The wait staff was very friendly and service was fast. It is best to go early as the restaurant is small and is very busy. You must go to Clayton's... More

This is by far the best place to eat breakfast in Coronado Island hands down. There is always a wait but it is worth it! Mid morning around 10am during the week is a shorter wait around 20 minutes....weekends can be up to an hour. I highly suggest eating at the bar, put a few quarters in the jukebox and... More

This is a very nostalgic business. Old style diner seating, and retro signs. Coffee was good, and left me wanting to come back for home baked pies and milkshakes. They still use the old mechanical cash register. Awesome!

Always good. Old fashion soda fountain type cafe with an old fashion American menu. My favorite place for breakfast in Coronado. It must have been established about 80 years ago. We love this place!

We ate here twice while in Coronado. They have great breakfast with a lot of options. The place is small and you may have to wait about ten minutes, but it is worth the wait!

From the moment you walk in the door, it seems you've stepped back in time. The juke box and the adorable servers remind you of simpler times. Everyone is friendly and happy to be there. I love to go for a classic breakfast - eggs, bacon and the fruit cup. Go early to avoid the line and if you're feeling... More

A terrific diner with a 50's atmosphere and excellent diner food. A blast from the past. A Coronado favorite.
