Opens daily at 6 for breakfast but serves meals throughout the day. Nice selections in the European style cafe in a fairly quiet part of Coronado. The locals love this place as its quiet and the goodies quite good. Dinner specials every night. Near the ferry landing and parking us not a problem.

The Nicoise Sandwich is very tasty. The tuna is fresh, flaky, and pleasant....served on a nice, reasonably sized baguette, the greens are tasty and fresh. I think an offering of sauces to go with the plate would be a nice accompaniment to the tuna. The salad is lightly dressed, so my recommendation would be to ask for some dressing on... More

We chose to take out our food and it was all first rate. Very close to the Marriott. I loved the French onion soup.

My husband and I were in Coronado in 2011 for our honeymoon and we walked to Tartine from the Marriott two mornings in a row! On our recent trip to La Jolla, we decided it was worth driving 20 minutes to Coronado to go to Tartine! We absolutely LOVE this cafe! The service is fantastic and the food is beyond... More

Found this restaurant by accident and so glad we did! It is away from the downtown hustle and bustle, for one thing. Secondly, it has an incredible, fresh menu that is a far cry from the usual lunch and/or dinner fare at larger establishments. For lunch we had the charcuterie platter which was a pure gastronomic delight and more than... More

We absolutely love Tartine. The food is always very fresh, the service is friendly, and the dining area is nice and modern. They offer a variety of sandwiches, salads, and a few other warm items. My favorite is the Pear Gorgonzola Sandwich, if you have never had it, you must try it, and if you love lemon bars, you will... More

I love visiting Coronado and have been all over the island but Tartine's quiche and coffee is by far my favorite breakfast on the island! I usually enjoy a croissant on the side/to go too...buttery flaky goodness and their ginger snap cookie is delicious...although everything I've ever had from here is yummy! I've been several times this year and everytime... More

Stopped here for a turkey panino to take out. It was yummy, and came with a lovely generous mixed greens salad- for about $10. They have beautiful baked goodies too. Also sat on the patio in the evening and enjoyed a glass of wine.

We have been to Coronado many times, and always make it a point to make a visit to Tartine. Lovely place for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. Our last visit, we made a late night stop and were disappointed to find they had rolled up the welcome mat 40 minutes early. I suppose that the staff was tired of... More
