We stopped in after work for a glass ow wine and hit happy hour. It was great, they had glasses of wine at a very reasonable price and a variety of small plates also very reasonable priced with a good portion of food. This ended up replacing dinner! It has a nice outdoor patio right on the water so the... More

Great view of the San Diego skyline and my sea bass was cooked perfectly. Service was a bit spotty even though they were not busy. Prices were on the high side. Overall we were pleased.

We went here on a recommendation of some friends(who got their recommendation from a cab driver). What a great tip. First there is a generous amount of seating on the deck which overlooks the bay and city. We did have to wait a little over five minutes right at opening, but we deduced this was so the kitchen wasn't overwhelmed.... More

Took 3 business associates to dinner here. Reservation was pre-made online the day prior for a Saturday night 7:15pm. Arrived at 7:05pm and the desk could not find the reservation. They said it was not a problem and would get us in. I did also have a print screen of the confirmation of reservation that I had made. We were... More

I visit Peohe's each time I come to California and i am never disappointed. Sitting either outside or under the covered patio the food and the sights are outstanding. The service is very knowledgeable and friendly the deepfried whole snapper was delicious.

Making the mistake of waiting til the last minute, I scrambled for a dinner reservation for two as it was both my wife's and my birthday...yes we have the same birthday! Peohe's front desk person Sarah, was kind, understanding and all over getting it done. She got us a window table with a perfect nighttime view of the beautiful San... More

This was my second visit. Unfortunately, my husband missed the shopping - more importantly he missed Poehe’s. For the fabulous appetizers and entrees, beautiful surroundings and attentive service, this is the place. On this second visit after an afternoon of shopping, my friend and I needed a light afternoon snack before dinner later in the evening. Visitors could easily take... More

We were three for dinner at 8pm on a Tuesday night. Although a reservation had been made and confirmed for a specific room, they told us it was busy with a large group and tried to sit us elsewhere. We persisted and they did finally seat is as we asked with a warning the service would be slow. The rest... More

I took my out of town relatives to Peohe's for happy hour. We just wanted some light food or appetizers. Our faves were the coconut shrimp, panko onion rings and pork sliders. The view of the San Diego harbor is outstanding. Relaxing to see across the bay, watch the ferries, sailboats and jet skis. All for an econo happy hour... More
