We were looking forward to a relaxing upmarket dining experience on our arrival in Coronado and accordingly reserved a table at this restaurant. We arrived in plenty of time and made our own way to the table. we were promptly asked by the server if we had reserved it. We felt that this comment was not necessary. We waited for... More

In a converted house on lovely Coronado, there exists a classy French restaurant, where the intimate atmosphere and upscale dining make for a truly memorable and delicious experience. Not only is Chez Loma in easy walking distance of more or less everywhere (It's right off Orange Avenue, the main thoroughfare), the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is meltingly... More

My wife and I met some friends visiting from Georgia - of us staying at the Del Coronado - a pleasant five minute stroll away. Our table was in the front Bistro section by the bar, tucked into the corner surrounded by glass - busy, noisy, a little cramped, but what fun! It reminded all of us, especially my friend... More

Nice intimate setting in a converted house. Everything we had was excellent. The escargot with sweetbread was maybe the best I have ever had. Our server was Sabrina and I would honestly say she was one of the best servers I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere in the world! Hope to be back sometime in the future.

We were attracted to this beautiful old building near our hotel and discovered it is a small French restaurant. After speaking with staff we made dinner reservations for 4 and, on arrival, were seated immediately at a table in a tastefully decorated room with only a few other tables, beautiful fresh flowers and candles, elegant table settings. Our server was... More

Once again my wife and I, with friends, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Chez Loma, an annual tradition when visiting Coronado. The food, service and atmosphere all contribute to an excellent dining experience, and the prices are fair a restaurant of this quality

This is the second time within two years that we picked Chez Loma to celebrate our anniversary on our visit to San Diego. Staying in the GasLamp District, it was well worth the ride across the Coronado bridge & back. We were not disappointed with our recent visit. It is a very intimate setting in a heritage house with a... More

Wine list very good, and Wednesdays feature half price bottles. I found the bouillabaisse deficient in the fish department. Steaks very good. Waitress Sabrina a wonderful addition.

We were looking for a small quiet restaurant and came upon Chez Loma. They took us without a reservation and we sat in a nook in the back. Their wine list was good and we shared a bottle of Faust 2012. I had escargot which was wonderful with arugula and a small piece of sweetbreads. He had onion soup which... More
