Was taking a walk around Coronado on my last day of a long weekend and happened on to a very nice small bistro. Had an outstanding salmon carpaccio crepe with toasted capers. I sat at the bar with a bloody mary and enjoyed a football game with the food A really nice stop - Thanks!

We had dinner at Chez loma three days ago and it was a great experience. We had the beetroot salad as starter and fish as main course and it was great. The desert was also fine. We had pear. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and was very enjoyable and pleasant. I would recommend it.

Love, love, love this restaurant and Cheryl makes our visit even more special. We always eat at the bar and enjoy visiting with Cheryl. The food is so delicious and a varied menu should be something for everyones taste. The wine excellent and the people are great.

Throughout our 3 week trip throughout California, this really was a stand-out meal. We're both in our twenties, this place I would say was geared to older individuals- but I think anyone can appreciate good food. The Entrees were incredible, the filet mignon was EXCEPTIONAL. Our waitress Sabrina was fantastic- very helpful and pretty attentive. We wanted a special meal,... More

I decided to break in Chez Loma, another place I’d never dined before but had heard much about. The restaurant is in the Carez Hizar House (circa 1889), a Coronado historical landmark on Loma Avenue almost at the corner of Orange Avenue. It is within walking distance of downtown Coronado, the Hotel Del Coronado, the theater, of course, and the... More

...well, inexpensive compared to other fine dining restaurants. We were fortunate to enjoy our meal on a Wednesday night, because the bottled wine was half price. Great beginning. We skipped the appetizers and went straight for the main course. My wife's filet mignon was exceptional, with an unobtrusive seasoning that only brought out the tenderness of the cut. My dish... This is a charming French restaurant that serves classic French dishes with s modern flourish. Nice variety of food, excellent quality. Our server was very helpful and attentive, and we will come back again when returning to the area. A nice change from the Gaslamp District if you are staying downtown and want some high end dining.
