It was a very busy weekend, but they had some seats available at the bar. We sat down, the waitress was fast, the guys making the sushi were very nice and funny. We order a pitcher of Sapporo, dirty rice, miso soup and spicy tuna rolls all were delicious. I will definitely be back.

We wanted a small dinner, and popped in here without reservations.... Seated at the sushi bar, the chef was friendly and attentive and quickly make up some delicious sushi for us. Everything we ordered was great and we went away wishing we'd been hungrier. I'd recommend planning ahead with a reservation and trying more items on the menu.

This sushi restaurant does both raw and cooked seafood to perfection: Super fresh and flavorful. The bok choy was also great. The sesame ice cream was a novelty. The only drawback is the parking hassle, but that's Coronado.

Ate here tonight, with kids, and it was very, very good. The unagi roll was unique and tasty. The Edamame was nice and hot and the miso was just as good as some I've had in Japan. The French fries the kids ordered tasted homemade. We had no complaints about the food or service, which was quick and friendly. We... More

Or at least Korean chefs who at least understand Japanese cooking. Edamame was fine, although it's not easy to mess that up. The gyoza were pretty good, but probably would have been less so if the waitress hadn't asked "steamed or deep fried?" Uh, gyoza is pan fried a la potsticker, which the kitchen more or less did manage. Truly... More

We had dinner here one night. My son had the Crown Roll and enjoyed it. My wife had the Wahoo fish special and I had the Tokyo Dirty Rice. The Crown Roll came out real fast, but the other two cooked meals took a long time. They weren't that busy, so I'm not sure why it took so long for... More

The rolls were tasty and hearty. Go during happy hour, it was the best, most reasonably priced sushi I've had in a while!

I have only visited the North Park location (couldn’t find that location here on Trip Advisor) and the menus are pretty different! We started out with the house edamame (hot edamame cooked with garlic, ginger and sesame) and they were amazing! So much better then plain edamame! We also tried the Paradise roll and the Roboto roll – both awesome!!... More

We were craving sushi rolls and cocktails. This place is off the busy downtown of Coronado and just what we wanted. A place the locals go. Loved the low key feel. Families and professionals.
