I laughed when I saw the sign, "Inn & Bistro". I didn't laugh after we ate breakfast there. It was outstanding. I crab eggs benedict and my wife had regular eggs benedict. They were both terrific. They have a terrific menu and the other items looked great also. The small restaurant was packed and tables filled up as quickly as... More

Excellent food, cordial service, indoor and outdoor tables for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is well prepared, and the portions are generous. The omelets are especially good.

This place is a must!! I had the Bananas Foster French Toast. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Our waitress Laura was very nice and helpful. Don't miss this when you are in Coronado!!

We enjoyed a yummy breakfast of ham and eggs. We sat outside on their patio with our small dog. The patio is tented but the heaters did not work so it was a bit cold. The great service and yummy food made up for the cold!

My husband and I go to San Diego about 3 times a year. We always try to get over to Coronado. We found this little hidden gem from just searching for breakfast on Yelp. The cafe is small and inside an Inn. The food was delicious. My husband had some kind of crab omelette and I had an egg white... More

Finding a good breakfast place in San Diego is not impossible, but many (or all) of the known good places depending on the day and time are busy and have wait times in excess of thirty minutes; some are even higher. We visited the Crown room, a small restaurant with a patio in an older Spanish style Inn that from... More

This was off the beaten path but the bread was amazing along with all of our entrees! We had salmon, tortellini and gnocchi ... very good!

This is attached to the Crown City Inn. It is a popular restaurant but we only waited about 10 minutes on a Friday morning. Our eggs were cooked just right with a great flavor (maybe clarified butter). Also, the hashbrowns were tasty. The homemade preserves added a nice touch for the toast. The hostess was friendly and efficient and Edgar,... More

We are staying at the Crown City Inn and decided to try the Bistro for breakfast this morning. This is a very small place and since it was raining the outside seating was closed. We managed to arrive early and were seated immediately. I ordered the crab Benedict and it was wonderful. The eggs were perfect and the hash browns... More

We went for years and the quality remains. Great food with specialty menus to try. Lunches and dinners as delicious as their wonderful Sunday breakfasts. Worth a try. Interior is cozy and outdoor tables have umbrellas for sunny days. Alright for Kids too.
