Of course there was no choice because of the State of CA mandate. It was disappointing but I think it might be more enjoyable if you wait until it reopens again. They did do a good job with packaging and didn't forget anything!

A very nice restaurant close to the Del Coronado Hotel, offering a wide choice of entrees, not just seafood, but that is their specialty. I had caesar salad and the cod and chips with a side of asparagus, and my friends and I shared a...More

This elegant restaurant is home to some of the best seafood in the San Diego area. The grilled swordfish and halibut were outstanding. The location is in close proximity to the historic Hotel del Coronado and the beach. Great place to relax and enjoy!!!

I have been here twice and it is usually quite fun and has the classic Brigantine selections. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed their fish tacos, oysters, and calamari along with some kind of salmon dish. They were prepared perfectly and even though calamari is usually...More

Stopped here for a quick dinner. Started with a local beer (cold), then has the calamari strips. Never had these before but they were tender and tasty. Finally had the scallops. Now I think the scallops had too much going on, they were still delicious....More

We ate there twice, both times the meals and service were excellent. (The main street, across from the Hotel Del Coronado was being repaved so it was a little hard to get there, but worth it.)

Great meal good service. We had swordfish, a halibut special and a child’s burger, calamari appetizer and oysters rock. Everything was hot fresh and tasty. We almost went back for a second time but here are many places to try if you’re just visiting.

Whenever visiting San Diego, a trip to this Brigantine is mandatory. The Ahi tuna was 'cooked' to perfection. The Mahi was likewise delicious. An excellent Sauvignon blanc complemented the meals.

Not sure how to answer your question except that Coronado is no smoking in public or in restaurants . If people are smoking on public streets they could be tourists or not aware of this .

It's about a 30 minute walk, or 5 to 10 min drive depending on traffic. It's right next door to El Cordova hotel across the street from the Del.
