As we're walking back to the ferry stopped here for a quick bite. They have daily happy hour specials. We went for the bbq pizza which was delicious and priced well.

We ordered take-out from this restaurant while staying at The Del. When I walked in to pick up our food, I wished that we'd eaten our dinner in the restaurant. It has such a cozy and comfortable vibe. We ordered pizza (amazing) and a great pear salad. The salad was so good that I could have eaten a larger one... More

I wasn't even hungry for pizza but kiddos wanted so we went for lunch. I ordered a salad and on a whim my husband ordered the billy goat pizza because a neighbor table ordered it and said she had it three years ago and had been waiting to come back- so we figured we'd try. It was delicious! I always... More

Had lunch here on way back from ferry, ordered pizza and meatballs, should have really just had 1 X dish between the two of us as there was just too much. Offered chance to bid but to be honest were too full! That being said, the meals were nice and the service was good.

Across the street from our hotel, small, clean, cool indoor seating and outdoor, excellent chopped Italian salad and pizza.

For 8 o'clock on a Monday night, it took a long time to get a table. The pizza was good. I was disappointed that a key ingredient was left off our pizza, but our waitress noticed and took 25% off the bill. It was a kind gesture, and very much appreciated, but after the long wait, it was discouraging to... More

Sicilian pizza was excellent! Service was very friendly. Ordered zeppole which were great, too, but probably even better if eaten at the pizzeria. Great location a few doors away from the Hotel del on Orange Avenue.

Description
Established in 2002, Coronado's locally owned and family operated Village Pizzeria offers an authentic slice of New York City in the heart of beautiful Coronado, California. Using only the freshest ingredients, Village Pizzeria prides itself on going to great lengths to preserve the integrity of the iconic New York style pie, down to importing authentic New York water to replicate the perfect thin crust dough. Located just a block away from the Pacific Ocean, the restaurant's original Orange Avenue location provides cozy interior dining and ample outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the coastal vibe of the area. Village Pizzeria's second location opened in 2007, just steps away from the bay, boasting a spacious event-ready patio perfect for any family gathering. With nearly 20 pizzas to choose from, Village Pizzeria also delivers a healthy, tailor-made spin on old-school New York pizzeria offerings. Touting four different crust options for each pizza-original NY-style crust, thin crust, Sicilian style, and gluten free-as well as a variety of specialty pizzas such as "The Billy Goat" a white pie with fresh spinach, roasted red peppers, onions, sun dried tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese, as well as "The Islander" with Canadian bacon, pineapple, onions and bell peppers. In addition, the restaurant's menu features a variety of made-to-order salads, pastas, calzones, hoagies and desserts.
