Staying on vacation and driven past always busy so thought would try for breakfast. Very impressed breakfast choice good had the California burrito, crammed full with bacon , egg , hash browns , avocado, spinach and cheese . Very tasty and excellent value for money will be back before our vacation ends. Well worth a visit won't be disappointed !!!

Looking at the line that is waiting to get in...you just know that this must be a wonderful place. It is!! I've been here more than 100 times. The food is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and nice. And the service is great. There is an outside eating area that is very comfortable. And, it is dog-friendly. Best chocolate... More

Visited on a crowded Saturday morning. Great coffee and breakfast. Good service. Ordered two breakfast burritos, which were huge. Plus ordered two desserts to take home for later. Coconut cake and a lemon tart. Small tables. Grab a seat first then send someone to place the order. Fresh squeezed juices too.

We made a daily morning run to grab donuts for the family. Both the donuts and the ham & cheese croissants are the best.

We enjoy eating here for a quick, casual, tasty breakfast. There is an outdoor seating area (which is pleasant) and a few tables inside. Coffee is self-serve with multiple flavors to choose from. The pastries and small cakes are absolutely delicious. We've tried a few of their breakfasts and sandwiches and my favorite are their breakfast burritos. Their smoothies are... More

Rose Bakery Cafe manages to serve breakfast to lots of people at an impressive clip. The line to order moves fast and tables empty quickly, so don't walk away when the place looks full. My group had regular and blueberry pancakes -- good but not extraordinary. The portions are large. The eggs Benedict the next table ordered would have fed... More

We enjoyed our casual late breakfast here last Sunday after walking Balboa Island. They were busy with few seats available but we snagged a table outside. I ordered the Lox Bagel and was told they ran out of bagels. Hmmm, ok we'll have it on rye toast, no problem. We ordered a cappuccino, an iced latte and a chocolate twist... More

We were driving past and bakery and noticed a huge crowd first thing in the morning. After going to see a couple of the local sites, we drove past it on the way back to our hotel--it was still packed! So decided to give it a try the next day, and were definitely not disappointed. You won't be either!

Great little gem for sandwich and salad. Then we topped our lunch off by sharing an apple fritter. Best I ever had. We had to take half home. Ate it the next day and it was still fresh and yummy.

This is a tiny neighborhood bakery, with some inside and outside seating. It seems that most people carry out, because the place is bustling with satisfied customers coming and going. We went two days in a row, during the week, because we enjoyed our bagel sandwiches and burritos so much. The burritos are chock full of fresh ingredients and served... More
