I love this place - been going for years! They have the best fettuccine and believe me - I spent years looking for something comparable to what I was served in Italy - this is the closest I've been able to find! The baked ziti is another treat - it has a delicious surprise cream dollop in it (my girls share it and make a game to try and find the center)...don't forget to get the bread with garlic! They serve it with a fully steamed garlic pod for you to spread individual cloves on your slice - sublime!!! It's just a little hole in the wall place but a favorite around here!

Although the title say "pizza" there is a wonderful preparation of Chicken Marsela that is top notch. - as good as Macaroni Grill. Servings are ample and dinner includes a salad. A bit cramped, the the service staff has a great attitude and does well with the small space in the restaurant. A definite plus not to be missed is the Tiramisu but you must order when you come in since it does sell out.

Girlfriend and I went there last Friday, not sure what we wanted to eat. First thing I noticed, the place is kind of small, but we did see them put tables together to accommodate a larger party. Service was friendly enough, restaurant was clean, and the prices weren't bad. We decided on the spaghetti dish, she had the meatball, I had the sausage. Both were good, but after tasting hers, I prefer the sausage, plus there was a lot of meat, which is always good. We also got a salad, it was ok, too many stems in it for me, I like a more leafy salad plus it needed more dressing. Overall we enjoyed the food, and will be back. Helpful Tip: Because the restaurant is a little cozy, I would suggest a table away from the main entrance, as it is a busy area.

We got DoorDash delivery twice during our hotel stay nearby. The pizza was good. Especially liked the crumbled meatballs. But the salads were a rip off. Both the Caesar salad and the house salad had lettuce that was past its prime. Lots of brown in the Caesar and gooey rotting bits in the house. Both times I had to sort through the lettuce by hand to pull together enough decent lettuce to eat. And the Caesar dressing — I like anchovies, but this tasted like nothing but. It was an unappealing brown color (of anchovies.) Did not have the notes of Parmesan, garlic, lemon that Caesar should. The blue cheese dressing was thin and watery.

Ordered a Anti-pasta salad the salad was terrible the lettuce looks like it just came out of the freezer the dressing was pissed poor the Pepper Cheney’s had more flavor then the salad dressing. Ending up throwing it away $16 literally down the drain if I wasn’t so damn tired I would’ve taken it back

For years we ate here often and liked it (and since I'm a NYC native I have pretty exacting standards!). Then sometime in 2018 something went terribly wrong and both their pizzas and the other dishes we've had lately have taken a nose dive and become terrible, to the point that we have (very sadly) decided not to eat there any more. No idea what the problem is. New manager? I've eaten at their outlet at the Phoenix airport, where the food is rotten, and so know that this is a chain which is very bad at exerting any kind of quality control. The last time I was there, there were a lot of vacant tables (which is unusual at dinner time), so evidently a lot of other patrons have noticed the same thing. Unless this place cleans up its act pronto, I doubt it is going to be in business much longer. Which is heartbreaking since there's no other decent pie in town.

The pizza, calzones, mozzarella apps, and tiramisu were to die for. And this is all in addition to the incredibly friendly service that we were given. The conversation was uplifting and we felt right at home. Not to mention the fact that we left fully content and will be for the next few meals. :) well done!

I had the pizza and salad lunch. The salad was less than fresh and the pizza was slightly greasy. I expected more from a restaurant that appetizers as authentic

This place is so so good. The pizza's are amazing and huge. They are very generous with the Portions. Small place with not a lot of seating but I've never had to wait too long. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

We ate there several years ago and were not overly impressed. A couple of weeks ago we were looking for a place close to home. Tired of going to the same old places we decided to give it another try. Expectations weren't high, we remember the Cesar Salad Dressing was way too strong, after confirming with our waitress we decided to avoid it. I decided on the Shrimp Oreganata. Wow!!! The flavor was unlike anything I have ever eaten. The portion was perfect, not to much, not to little. We went back again last week. This time my wife ordered the Shrimp Oreganata and I ordered the chicken parmigiana. Both were excellent. This will be our new go to place for Italian food.

I had been coming to NYPD for more than 5 years for pizza. When playing golf at one of several Corona courses, we always made it a point to stop here for pizza. I live about 30 miles away and have even taken a special trip up here with my wife to allow her an opportunity to try this great pizza. Today we brought my son, daughter in law and two grandchildren from back east, PA and NY to try this pizza. They all agreed it is excellent pizza and reminded them of the pizza in NY.The wait staff continues to be excellent , the food, pizza is first rate, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Met the owners and learned the recipes are all family issue. The touch shows as everything we've ever had is awesome. Place is not big at all but packed at common times so come off peak or be OK with a wait. My go to is the chicken scalopini (or something spelled close) and it's the bomb. Kids have split a lasagna before, we've also done pizza, it's all killer. Food is top notch, prices are pretty normal and this is one of those word of mouth gems you want to learn about from sites like this. NYPD fan for life.

NYPD had previously been our "favorite" restaurants to stop at when traveling back and forth from San Diego to LA to see my parents. We heard NYPD had changed hands a few years back, but hadn't had the opportunity to check out until yesterday. Still looks the same, menu had only a few changes and the flyer on the table said they still make bagels on Fridays only. As for the food, it definitely was not the same, unfortunately. We ordered an antipasto salad and the large pizza. Flavor on both was excellent....the salad mainly because of a very good Italian dressing. However, there was VERY little extras in the salad. What salami, cheese and peppers there were had been cut into very little pieces (I think to look like more!). For a $13 salad, this should have been loaded with cold cuts and cheese. There could not have been more than an ounce of cheese and 2-3 slices of salami. No pepperoni, capocollo or mortadella. The lettuce was fresh and dressing very good, but should have been a $6-7 salad for what was in it. The pizza also had good flavor and our only complaint there was the crust was soggy, a pizza like that would have never been served by the previous owners as they really took pride in whatever went on a table, both in quality and quantity. Service was only fair, not bad, not good.

Best margarita pizza. I was sure I was back in Italy. The pie has a great balance of ingredients. This is my favorite pizza place in Corona. The pizza is so good, I never get around to trying anything else! Family-run place -- I go on a regular basis and the servers all know me on sight and what I like! Also has excellent mango iced tea -- brewed and NOT sugared! Also a good place for a beer or a glass of wine.
