E.J. Phair brews they're own beer and they do a great job of it. The burgers are great. The fries are perfect. They have a huge selection of beers other than the ones they make. The Wine list will not disappoint.

I'm a frequent visitor of this excellent restaurant , unpretentious although of good solid quality . The service is always courteous and efficient . I recommend the soups and the different salads , along with a the selection of refreshing beers . I enjoy sitting outside where one can contemplate life in Plaza todos los santos .... SALUD !!

We went because they were supposed to have great fish and chips. It didn't resemble anything like that though the fish was properly cooked. It tasted okay. The parmesan garlic fries we substituted were good. The location is really nice and we ate outside, which is wonderful. BUT... the service was not good. We were kind of ignored and on... More

Have been coming here for years. Nice location downtown with patio seating available. Good beer, casual menu has been the same for years and could use a change.

This us a fantastic place to go and relax, with good food and not just beer, but wine as well..servers are very friendly, very knowledgeable about the microbrews. We go there about once a month and love the location across the street from Todos SantfromPark, downtown Concord..

More of a bar that dabbles in food than a restaurant. I had fish and chips, the fish looked like the worlds largest fish stick it was Alaskan white fish with a flavorless batter coating that went straight from the freezer to the fryer. DItto for the fries. Really folks, this had all the Oh yeah a thimble full of... More

Lots of beer and good food. Had the a chicken tai salad or Asian with the oranges on it and it was real good. Staff was friendly. I remember coming to this restaurant in the past during the World Series and place went out of control when SF won the final game, good place and I will return..

I have been in EJ Phair several times. Cordial staff and LARGE selection of beers....including some of their own brews. Always a friendly place. I was surprised at the good quality of their food, not always present at similar alehouses. Very enjoyable!

The staff tries very hard, and I like the salads and burgers. I love that its casual and serves a variety of beer. I love the atmosphere and especially sitting outside over looking park... It never fails though that our first choice beer on tap is always gone!! Its actually a joke... Always always... But for Concord, this is one... More

EJ Phier has a mean grilled Chicken salad (Cranberries, grilled chicken and blue cheese) that was delicious! That coupled with great service made my trip out into 100 dregree weather, well worth it!
