At Market Street Grill, we're all passionate about great tasting, real food. We know that freshness and taste go hand in hand, so we are confident you'll enjoy your meal here - from our hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches, to our wonderful scratch baked pies, cookies and desserts. Our customers agree... they've voted us Best Breakfast in Colusa County for the last three years in a row! And in 2019, we were voted Best Family Restaurant as well! We use only the best ingredients - including Angus Beef, Premier Mushrooms and Terranova coffee. If you're hungry, treat yourself to biscuits and gravy, country fried steak and eggs, the Hungry Farmer, or our Kitchen Sink! All of our burgers start with 1/2 pound of Angus Beef Chuck. We have a variety of burgers to choose from, including our Cowboy Burger with bacon and onion rings on top, a Bleu Cheeseburger, or our new Mushroom Swiss burger, featuring Premier Mushrooms , and served on a large Thomas' english muffin.

Theta Mu, a retired teachers organization met for a meeting and a Russian theme luncheon catered by Market Street grill. The food was
tasty, the desert fantastic. The group watched the original film of Dr. Zhivago.

We drove down from Chico and drove around the Sutter Buttes (Worlds Smallest Mountain Range). Decided to have lunch at the market Street Grill. You order when you walk in and then sit down. What looks like a small place was huge, no wonder there was so many cars. Very busy at 1:30 PM.
I had the Patty Melt on marbled rye and it was great. I watched a lot of salads getting served and they seemed like works of art. The cashier came up to make sure we were happy and we all were. She said the burger was a 1/3 of a pound but it seemed more like 1/2 pound.Added on onion rings that were good.
Our fussy eater ordered a Chinese chicken Salad and loved it. His wife got a huge plate of french toast, something you would see in a magazine. Two days later they told me lets go to the Sutter Buttes again and go to the Market Street Grill too.
That says it all.

We were in Colusa for a sportsman convention. Several of us stopped in at the Market Street Grill on our last day for breakfast. While this is a sit down restuarant, you line up at the counter to place your order and they subsequently bring you your food. I had their meat lovers omlete which was very tasty with good portions. My only complaint was that I thought the food was on the expensive side. My order with a cup of joe and a tip came to just under $20.

My wife and I recently had breakfast on a Saturday morning at the Market Street Grill. Pretty quiet in downtown Colusa but the Grill was busy. My wife's omelette was very good, and my Colusa Fry was good too. We highly recommend it. Colusa is only 8 or 9 miles off Highway 5 via Highway 20, and the Grill was a good change from the usual fare.

This place has a solid, reliable, how you expect it breakfast every time. We come from Yuba City (30 minute drive) because it tops anything we have in our town for breakfast. Patty (one of the servers) is our favorite. She is always welcoming and makes us feel at home!

For a decent breakfast. We just moved here and had to eat out for the first two months and this was about the only place available to eat and we were never disappointed. American food is their specialty. They will serve your breakfast anyway you order. The food is generally cooked with a professional attitude and it shows. I always have an egg-white, vegetable omelette and their's is perfect. You only get one piece of toast so if you want more better order it with your meal. They also have lunch specials and are open for dinner on Friday night only. The parking is adequate and the service is from a friendly, professional staff. Their weekly menu is on their web-site. They also have WiFi available. It is a great place for meetings and large groups. Families welcome.

We've only lived in Colusa just over a year, and find the Market Street Grill to have everything anyone could want. May I recommend their Friday night prime rib special. Totally, the best I've ever had. The seasoning and quality of beef are excellent. The owner and her staff are exceptional. I love this place.

Used to eat most all meals in here when passing through Colusa, stopped in for breakfast the other day and was very disappointed. Food quality just wasn't there. Rubbery omelette, stale toast, bitter coffee. Not busy like it used to be, either.
On a good note, very friendly staff.

I've been here 30+ times in the past 2 years. It's always delicious, fresh, with great portion sizes. You do have to order and pay at the counter, and get your own drink, but the service is always great and the staff is always friendly
Some items that are a must-try are the chicken salad (it has chunks of pineapple in it-yum!), the chicken sandwich, and the soup of the day. This is not a place with the same "soup of the day" for 3 days in a row. Every day it's a new one and it's made each morning.
I'm in Colusa for business, and their wi-fi is always fast, and it's super quiet to get a lot of work done.

Went here for breakfast. Fantastic omelette and country potatoes. The owner Diane was gracious and cares about customers. Best omelette I've had in a long time. Good fresh ingredients. Generous portions. My wife's oatmeal was good too. I'll come back next time I'm in Colusa.

My first time at "Market Street Grill" since Tommy sold it, and boy has it changed. The building and appearance of the business has pretty much stayed the same, the service and atmosphere have defiantly had the most impact. My food was fresh but yet unseasoned. The owner didn't say two words to us as she passed our table at least five times. I can't believe how rude she was to us!

I must apologize for such poor customer service. I can't possibly imagine what must have been on my mind to have ignored you so, but please accept my apology, and an invitation to return to Market Street Grill for breakfast or lunch as my guest. I would love to have the opportunity to provide you with better service. Please let me know if you will be in the neighborhood, and I'll meet you personally. Thanks again for the opportunity to serve you. Regards, Diane Shuman

We were passing through Colusa and the 4-year-old was hungry. We'd driven by Tommy's and it looked clean and bright so we turned back and went in. You order and pay at a counter, then a server brings your order to your table. There was a large party ahead of us so another employee stepped in to take our order. We ordered the Child's Portion Chicken Tenders with fries and it was a nice portion, nicely done. We also ordered a Patty Melt, Cheeseburger, and I had the Chipotle Burger. I asked for Medium Rare and that's how it was done. Big 1/3-pound, juicy and delicious. Every one of us was very pleased with their order. Our sides of Fries, Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings were well prepared and generous. From counter to tables to restrooms, Tommy's was clean. Everybody was friendly. Go for lunch like we did and you'll be pleased. I have no doubt breakfast would be good too, but that's all they serve. They close at 2PM and don't serve dinner.

During our recent stay in Colusa County, we were told that Tommy's Market Street Grill was a good place for breakfast and lunch. We loved their bacon which was cooked exactly as it should be. They use quality meat and their cooks cook it just right. So good, we visited 3 times!

We ate here because this was the only restaurant we could find in Colusa. It is a small unassuming place where one orders their food at the register and then sits at the table and waits for the server to bring it. Their menu is very limited and the place is only open for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was very good...no hashbrowns here...only country potatoes cooked with tasty vegetables. The bacon was thick and the eggs was great. Overall, a good breakfast in a small place.
