It was over 100 degrees when we were in Columbia. This restaurant was a a nice respite from the heat. The decor was conducive to the summer heat - wood floors, tables not too close together, A/C on. The food was good. My sister and...I split a burger - it was that big. We ordered extra fries so we each had a full side. My mom had soup, which she enjoyed.More

We stumbled across this restaurant about 1:30 on a Tuesday in mid-October. The time is important because we were there when nobody else was, literally. The place is was large and would be interesting to see when they're busy! They have a large menu to...choose from, but three out of the four of us chose the same thing: the bacon cheddar burger. It was delicious! Our waitress was dressed in period costume. She knew the menu well and did her job well. Since we were the only diners in the restaurant, she took the time to chat with us. Delicious food and friendly servers makes this place a good place to go back to.More

Walked to this place from the airport for some breakfast. In an old historic part of this small town. Many interesting things to see in this area! As for the restaurant, It was very good! Staff was very friendly and helpful! All food was prepared...as ordered and was delivered hot, quickly, and was very tasty! Good menu with lots to choose from! It was about a 10 min or less walk from the airport.More

Old fashion Monte Chisto sandwich was fantastic. I ordered the home made chips which were served warm right out of the fryer. The mixed salad with apples, walnuts, dried cherries and blue cheese was exceptional. Service was on point, couldn't ask for a nicer server.

After driving all day and finally getting checked into our hotel across the street we were famished. Sadly, in these small towns restaurants either close early or aren't open every day so your choices are limited. We found this restaurant open so we choose it....I ordered a burger and fries and my better half Cookielee order a sandwich and potato salad. The burger came dry, without any type of sauce and the bun was as cold as if it had just come out of the fridge. The onions appeared to have just been defrosted as well. My order of fries were loaded with all the fryer "debris", crumbs, oil, etc. Cookielees potato salad was also not well received. The waitress was nice, that was the only positive comment I can make.More

After meandering through town we decided to have lunch here late afternoon. Our server was kind, sweet and attentive. I had a French Dip sandwich which I normally have with cheese and grilled onions but these were all extra add ons $$. Roast beef was...sliced so thick it was quite chewy (thin slice is the secret). Our friends ordered sandwiches and the fries were served cold. I'll write it off to late afternoon blahs.More

The town was very busy due to parade and so we felt fortunate to get a table for six at 2 pm. The service was good and food was good. I was not hungry so I only had cottage cheese but the others in the...party did enjoy their burgers and salads.More

We stopped here for breakfast on a visit to the town. The restaurant was empty so there wasn’t much atmosphere to the place but the waitress was both friendly and helpful. We both chose to have an omelet. They were very nice and we thoroughly...enjoyed them.More

My husband and I decided to take a leisurely drive to Columbia. We had lunch at the Columbia House Restaurant and were entertained by live music and a casual meal.
