english below Wir waren im letzte Urlaub schon einmal hier und wussten schon was uns erwartet. Netter Service gutes Essen und Platz für viele Gäste. Der Aussenbereich hat sich im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr verbessert. Leider sind sehr wenige Parkplätze vorhanden. Für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet. We...were here on our last holiday and already knew what to expect. Nice service good food and space for many guests. The outdoor area has improved compared to last year. Unfortunately, there are very few parking spaces available. Suitable for wheelchair users.More

For a last night in Poland we wanted a quality dinner menu linked to flight timings (its only 2.5 km from airport) and we got it. The building is a good imitation of the mountain style wooden lodges, with emphasis on scale. The staff is...dressed in kitsch traditional costumes, and is plentiful for a big establishment. It was a bit too long before our orders were taken, but they came quickly and all at the same time. The burger (says son) was "fine". The salad with Brindza was good and fresh although I personally don't like sugared walnuts in salads. But it gave taste while not leaving us bloated. Pleasant sunset view over the like. PLN 140 for 3 inlcuding a shared desert. The desert (apple czarlotka) was oversweet and cream from a canister. Howeever, You probably won't go badly wrong hereMore

A great wooden log mansion (a little big for a cabin) and very cosy. The food was basic but tasted good, except the apple pie which was perfect especially when combined with vanilla ice cream and cream. The tea was also very tasty after 5-10...mins steeping. We popped in while early for the airport, a few km out of our way but worth it.More

Really looking forward to this evening and it got off to a bad start as where we were asked to meet the Big Red Double Decker bus at the Radisson Blu hotel it didn't show. After meeting with other confused guests we found that it...was a blue bus with a chicken on the back. We went to get on that only to be told we had to go on the coach behind. To cut the story short we arrived at the restaurant and then had a great night of eating and drinking, I can recommend itMore

We booked a trip online with GetYourGuide for Krakow Polish Folk Show-with all-you-can-eat dinner. Because we were late getting back from an afternoon trip we were too late to meet the pick-up bus so we went to the venue by taxi. When we arrived people...were already seated and food was being served. We showed our vouchers and then had to stand around whilst the guide and the restaurant manager had a long argument in Polish. Eventually the manager went and found some seats on a table with 10 other people; we were crammed in like sardines. To be fair, they did organise the soup, which we had missed, and the food was ok, but not great. There was no chance to get to the buffet as we were too tightly packed in - people on our table and the next table had to move to allow one to get out. I could see very little of the folk show from where I was sitting, let alone take photos! Talking to the other people on our table, we discovered that, when we didn't get on the bus, even though the voucher states that clients can make their own way to the venue, the guide picked up two other clients, accepting a cash payment. As soon as the show finished were were pushed out onto the bus. However, it soon transpired that there was a problem as the guide then had too many people on the bus. This was obviously due to the fact that she had picked up additional clients. She marched up and down looking for volunteers to get on another bus; then she started asking who had come by taxi, presumably intending to ask us to leave the bus. Fortunately, before she reached us, the situation was somehow resolved. Since we had already paid for our tickets in advance, and no refund would have been offered at that stage, our seats had obviously been sold twice! All in all, a very disappointing evening.More

I can’t honestly say I enjoyed our visit here. Our booked table was upstairs, away from the main entertainment area downstairs, and we felt cut off and poorer neighbours to those downstairs. In fairness the dancers and musicians did come upstairs and perform, but the...real atmosphere was down below. The availability of unlimited beer and wine appears to be a main attraction for some, rather than the folk event itself. Some guests positioned themselves at the table with the beer pitchers and just poured and drank, emptying the pitchers. We then had to ask for beer and waited ages for it to arrive. And we quickly learned that it was better to take a few bottles of wine from the central table to our own table, rather than having to hope some would be left when we went back for a refill. Food was not of a high standard at all. I know this is not a restaurant experience but I had hoped for better. Overall I would give this experience a miss but if you do go, get a table downstairs, arrive early, enjoy the music and dancing, but do not expect a culinary delight.More

If staying in Krakow, you can book a very enjoyable dinner folk dancing show at their place. They use a double decker bus that picks up guests close to the main square at 6:45 pm and takes them to the restaurant which is about 20...- 25 minutes drive away, through country to the village Liszki. Guests are greeted at the door with the cast in costume and playing lively Polish folk music. Seating is a little crowded on benches at long tables. They provide a shot glass of something and serve dinner. Beer and wine is help yourself, no extra charge. The food was good. They also have a buffet of all kinds of food available so even big eaters can eat their fill. The show continues through the meal and evening with very well costumed cast playing a variety of Polish folk music, some very lively, some more somber. The dancers are very entertaining and in several dances brought in audience members to participate. One number had many of the audience dancing as well. The show ended and the bus departed at about 9:30 pm. This was a very enjoyable, lively evening I would take guests to if I were to return to Krakow.More

Just got back to our hotel after attending this folk dinner and dancing. It was a lot of fun-good food and very enjoyable Polish dancing. People were invited to dance along with the folk dancers, and by the end of the night most people were...on the dance floor having fun. If you’ve been to a polish wedding, it comparable to that. Good, delicious food and good times!More

We booked our folklore evening with Krakow Direct. They arranged this and multiple other private tours for us during our stay in Krakow. You can email or call them, they were great to deal with.
