Dining room had a good atmosphere. I had the bone in rib-eye which at $53 was pretty pricey. It came undercooked and they took it back for a quick grill. It came out perfect. My wife had the filet oscar and she really enjoyed it. Somm was very friendly and they had some specials going on from their wine list.... More

I make it a habit to review a restaurant's menu on-line whenever I go to a place that I have not been to before. So, being at the Spotlight 29 Casino for a concert, I decided I wanted a yummy meal before the concert. I reviewed the menu and was looking forward to a 12 oz. rib eye steak that... More

Loved this steakhouse before it became a Mexican restaurant. Just reopened this week as the steakhouse again. Steaks were perfect along with appetizers and side vegetables.

Was a fantastic steak house. Too bad its now gone for some Mexican joint nobody goes to. Or around here Mexican food is called merely "food" my bad.

My parents chose JEM for a Father's Day Eve dinner, and I must say I've FINALLY found a chef that can cook a true medium Filet. I asked for it 'pink in the middle' and got exactly that! Perfect sear on the outside, and cooked all the way through, but moist and oh so tender. Combined with twin 4oz lobster... More

Although their regular menu can be a bit pricey, they have a mid week $29 3 course gourmet steak dinner that is one of the BEST values ANYWHERE ! This restaurant is rarely crowded and the service is exceptional !

We had dinner at the JEM with friends before the Together Again concert. One of the other guys commented on the name "JEM Steakhouse," to the effect that we'd better order one of the beef entrees given the name. I responded, "Well, how about a pork steak?" I was wrong! I ordered the grilled pork chop. It looked like a... More

While in Palm Desert we golfed the Eagle Falls Golf Course then went to see Lover Boy Concert at the Spotlight 29 Casino. Before the concert we dined at JEM steakhouse. Wonderful food. I would order the Filet Mignon again it was perfectly cooked and came with just about any sauce you want. Side of cheesy macaroni in a skillet... More

Dined here with another couple before heading over to another casino to see Frankie Vali. While the service was good, the quality of food was not. Our salads were very small with little variety in them. I had the chicken alfredo which was overcooked.. pasty. Two others order the steak for two and both were overcooked and bland. Even the...
