Stopped for lunch with my family of four (two teenage boys). Location was good in old town Clovis and the indoor / outdoor seating was great. Rotating tap list has plenty of local brews as options and the food choices were plentiful as well. We couldn’t believe the portion sizes and honestly would have shared had we payed attention to others meals being served. Burgers and salad were our entrees and they didn’t disappoint. One of the biggest entree salads we’ve seen. The side of potatoes and dipping sauces with the burgers were fabulous. Definitely worth the stop if in town but bring your appetite!

We have dined here several times , and enjoyed it very much. Since the pandemic, we have ordered take out. We normally order their flat bread meals where you “build your own.” Roy are given a choice 2 toppings and 8 sauces, topped with cheese. For an additional charge, you can a meat of your choice. We usually also order their clam chowder, which is very good.
They have a small early bird special from 4pm to 6 pm nightly,,,the flat bread is on this menu.

I live in Clovis and this is one of my favorite spots. It's right in Old Town Clovis so there's plenty of shopping nearby. The food is outstanding. My favorite is the Betsy Ross Turkey Burger with the potatoes on the side. Most of the menu can be converted to gluten-free options. If we have an out-of-town guest and want a good meal, then we almost always come here. I have at least 2 friends with Celiac's Disease and this makes for some easy options.

A Group of us met on Sunday 8/15 when they first opened. Given that the restaurant filled up quickly, the service was slow. I was very happy that the food was above par, an the menu choice for both food items and drink choices were wonderful. If you can get in I highly recommend the burgers and salad. Some of the other people that were with me had flatbread pizza, hotdog and chicken sandwich. All very tasty and the potatoes are a must!

Celebrating getting out and decided to try this place after going to their other location on the coast. On par with what we experienced out of town. Had the same sliders... only complaint is that the sliders don't have ALL the goodies like the full on burgers... Still delish. Strange potatoes in that you don't get fries with the burgers however these potatoes are so lovely. Tea was smooth and waitress was on point making sure we had everything. Will be back

Had a great family dinner. First time in, so most of us did the slider samplers. I would suggest this if you dont know what or which to choose. Daughter went all in on the Blue and it was amazing! It was so large, she couldnt finish the side of roasted potatoes, which were a great change from fries. My favorite was the Dragon Lady burger and slaw. The pickled onions on it are a different topping that made it stand out. The chili side had a kick, which sat well.
The only drawback of the meals was the kids hotdog. Whole lot of bun, not much dog. It also comes with no sides. Disappointed there.
Burgers are great. Service is fast and friendly. Just avoid the dogs.
Definitely a gem in Old Town Clovis.

We had a 20 min wait to be the ONLY people to sit outside on the patio. It was just too cold to be out there so my husband went inside and asked if we could have the next available indoor table and the lady at the front told us we would have to get back on the list and wait AGAIN. Really? For a business that is asking locals to support them which do as we live in Clovis to tell us we have to go back on the waitlist...wow. Horrible customer service.

We looked for a place for lunch that allowed pets and this was the place. Even though the patio was not open, they opened it for us and let us have a table so that we could bring our dog.
The food was incredible. For a burger, you may think, what is so great about a burger? I had the Athena burger and my husband had the JuJu burger. So delicious and the potatoes with dipping sauces were great.

We arrived just in time for the happy hour menu which had both drinks and food on it. The hubby opted for a flat bread and I got the shrimp tacos. Matt M was our server and was also taking care of other guests at the bar as well. He was polite and attentive and took care of our needs promptly. We will come back if we are ever in Clovis again.

I came here with my husband and daughter and we enjoyed it.
ENVIRONMENT: Casual environment. TVs all around. Kid friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cute downtown area, so you can walk around before or after eating.
FOOD: My husband and I had the burger in a bowl with potatoes. I had a good glass of Pinot noir from the wine list, which was well priced during happy hour. They had a list of homemade desserts so my husband and daughter had the brownie with ice cream on top.
PARKING: Street parking in front and a parking lot in the rear.
PRICE: “Well priced” from my frugal husband.
NOTE: I have celiac disease, so having food options for me to eat too and feeling safe is important for me. I recommend this place to others with celiac disease.

We had the wedge salad with steak. The salad was ok but the steak not so much. The restaurant staff was pleasant and efficient.

Looked for something different and found this House of Juju from the TripAdvisor for best place for dinner.
Ordered Calamity Jane (recommended) w the potatoes., portion ?? As usual is big (for me). How great …… it’s good but …. Not for my palate, patty a bit thin and dry side, mushroom were In cool side, buns were good, apple wood bacon were quite thin. This is not a complain but I’d want more if this place were voted one of the best in Clovis, not for me. Thank you for the experience.

We patrons have become too accustomed to big chain restaurants, and while there is something to be said about the big chains - they certainly have their place - with their commonplace everywhere presence and assembly line feel something’s been lost... namely quality and service. We’ve forgotten. Luckily there still are those mom & pop restaurants out there dotting this country that still care for the craft, places that retain a heartfelt interest in bringing you a meal offering their own unique flavors and styles rather than the same old mass production McBell King food in a paper bag. This place is that mom & pop place that well represents that bygone era of pride in the craft... it’s that reminder we all need of what going out to eat should be: That the food and the service - the overall experience - should be and can be more than merely a mindless act of putting calories in our stomachs. I often wonder if the money I spend when eating out is worth it. This time that wasn’t even a question.

We chose House of JuJu for our dinner after a long day of driving and hiking at Kings Canyon NP. It was a good choice, with very good food at a reasonable price, good service and a nice atmosphere.
