The night we went to the Trading Post (A Thursday.) all the bottles of wine were half priced. That allowed us to order a more expensive bottle than we would have otherwise. The chicken liver profiteroles were a big hit as a starter, and went...so well with the Barbera. Cassoulet and steak for dinner, both wonderfully cooked with croquette and veggie sides for the steak, and butterscotch pudding for dessert. I felt that the food was a clever combination of adventurous and familiar. The home baked bread was too good to waste so it came home with us as leftovers, along with half my steak, and made excellent toast the next morning.More

I ordered the Fried Chicken and it was of average quality. As a side salad, I tried the greens and grains salad which was made up of interesting ingredients but overall only ok as to level of satisfaction and cost $15 which is steep. When...you say yes to water they serve Pellegrino which is good but a $5 additional charge. Sometimes this place serves quite tasty dishes.More

We had a great dinner. There was a limited menu due to the fires but the food was so good! The salad was fresh and the dressing was so delicious! We had the pasta with meat sauce. Let me tell you about the bread basket!...It was divine! Finished with a warm homemade chocolate chip cookie. Cannot wait to return!More

We loved the open, clean decor! Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Loved all the food but the Gazpacho was out of this world! Truly delicious. I could eat it every night! Would go back to the Trading Post!

Drive just 20 minutes north to Cloverdale’s Trading Post for a meal that will rival (or surpass) anything you can find in Healdsburg. It's difficult to recommend any single dish because the Trading Post's menu varies with the cycle of nature; the menu is built...around fresh ingredients from local farmers which are then elevated by the inspired creativity of chefs Erik Johnson and Aaron Arabian. Consider, for example, the lowly and oh-so-common "tater tot." At the Trading Post, decadent squares of potato goodness are deep-fried in duck fat to a uniformly crispy amber color and served with an aioli made from champagne vinegar and crème fraiche. The salad special the evening we visited was a perfect example of the truth that one eats with one’s eyes. The presentation of Early Girl tomatoes, fresh peaches and shaved goat cheese dressed with elderberry vinegar and sprinkled with an aromatic, yet delicate rose oil was almost too beautiful to eat -- but we did, anyway. And if you're in or passing through Cloverdale Tuesday through Saturday before dinner time, the Trading Post has recently decided to open from 7am-5pm for a "Bread and Coffee Bar" (their artisan breads are so popular they even have a Bread Club!More

I had coffee and a croissant to go so I could walk around this cute town. Both were delicious but the croissant was made a bit differently than the norm. Crispier while buttery and lovely. All the baked goods looked delicious. Looks like the TP...has just opened - it is charming and I would try a full meal there just based on the avant guarde croissant and charming design elements of the restaurant.More

We were recommended to the Trading Post to celebrate husband’s birthday dinner while on vacation, what a disappointment this was the worst meal out of our vacation, sadly! Hubby ordered a pasta dish, he said he won’t ordered it again, I had the halibut fish...over a bed greens, the fish was dry when it came out, sent it back and in two minutes flat the waitress came out with the replacement order. First of all I’ve never been to a restaurant where your dinner comes out in record timing, it too was also dry. We paid for our meal and left extremely disappointed, never to return again. I gave the review two stars because the waitress was extremely friendly and attentive.More

The burgers were great except for one "misstep": they put sweet pickles on it instead of dill. I had never had a burger with sweet picklers before. Other than that, it was a very well cooked, large, and delicious burger.

Farm to Table, excellent food and service. Pork Chop was huge and delicious. relaxed atmosphere. It can be busy as it is a justifiably popular spot.
