Great range of beer . Food looks impressive but didn't try this time. Happy hour pricing allows you to try a few brews. Bar staff are Knowledgeable, interesting and NOT pushy. A nice change.

Love this place..... Its everything you want in a health conscious eater..... It has several options for a clean eater and offers the option to enjoy classic foods. It is in claremont and in a great location close to the collages.

Everything was top notch. Food service, also easy location in Claremont. Burgers are some of the best.

Stopped in here a few times to grab a drink. There was a band playing and the crowd was mixed. The cocktails were very good as was the service and I will be returning here if I'm in the area

This is one of the best restaurants in town. There is something for all age groups and all food choices. They have vegan, vegetarian , steaks, fish , and burgers. All the food is good. Music later in the evening is fun and Tuesday is trivia night. I have never had a bad experience at The Press! Almost forgot they... More

This restaurant has been consistently good for more than two decades. There are a number of vegetarian options. The building once housed a printing press and it makes for an interesting decor.

It starts from the minute you arrive. There is nothing fancy about the place, but the space is huge and while you can have an intimate meal, its not at all crowded even when the restaurant is full. We had a great meal, and every single thing on the menu looked inviting. Sometimes it's foolish to order plain grilled fish... More

This is a very nice cozy restaurant in the Village in Clairemont. Service was great, no issues using groupon (which was nice) and the food was really good. Prices are very reasonable, nice small selections of beer on tap (also bottle beer if you want) and wines. Looking forward to returning and enjoying another meal.

The Press is excellent in every way. Service, appetizers, steaks, wine list all near perfection. We sat outside by the fireplace, which is definitely the best table in the house. Only problem was that the hostess had great difficulty ordering us a taxi to return to our hotel. She just wasn't A-type enough to get a cab to arrive in... More
