This is a pricey restaurant, but very worth it! We don't mind spending money on food, as long as it's great tasting! We didn't have reservations but that wasn't an issue for a Tuesday night. Service was excellent. Super fancy and low lighting was perfect for a date night

Went to 5th Street Steakhouse on a Friday night in early November. Got there around 6pm, was busy, but not crazy. By 7pm is was crazy busy. The food and drink is very expensive. Entree's are $25-$50 each, and that does not include soup or salad, just entrée and a side. 3 of use got various steaks, all were excellent.... More

Enjoyed a perfectly cooked Rib Eye steak with loaded baked potato. Added a side of mushrooms simmered in wine, butter and garlic for sharing. Pre-dinner we each had a bowl of creamy, thick, loaded with clams, chowder. Finished this all off with each couple sharing a Cream Brûlée. Left with enough leftovers for our meal the next day. (Senior appetites)... More

The ambience and the food is excellent in this restaurant. One has several options for seating; inside, outside, booth, table, separate conference type room, or at the bar. The staff is superb, always friendly and efficient. Last night we had a specialty which consisted of a 6 oz. filet (which was tender and juicy) with spinach, garlic mashed potatoes with... More

Nice restaurant. Good food and service. Had the beef Wellington special, which was not really beef Wellington, but a filet with a pasty cake along side. Disappointing, but good taste.

My husband and I love 5th Street and we think they have the best steaks in town. The filet is amazing! Their appetizers and drinks are also really great. The calamari is our favorite!

Yuck. What is all the fuss about? This food was overpriced cafeteria food. Greasy no flavor no creativity, poor service and lame atmosphere. Do not waste your money there are much better places in Chico.

Outstanding restaurant. Red leather seating, old brick walls, terrific bar, and great service at a place serving prime grade beef in a semi-formal but really friendly atmosphere. Subdued lighting and rich decor. One of the best places in Chico for dinner.

We eat at this steakhouse once a year and it never disappoints. Great steaks! Great atmosphere! The waiters are always friendly and engaging.
