Family of 5 (3 teens) sat outside after a Thursday night market. So many great, local, organic and tasty apps..... it was almost difficult to think about the entrees... but we did. One of the Italian teens with us (literally from Northern Italy) said the margherita pizza was great. I enjoyed the chicken breast which was prepared with flavorful skin... More

We had a soup and salad at Grana. The salad was a warm wheat berry grain salad with arugula and had too much vinegar in it unfortunately and also too many wheat berries. The salad lacked a good balance in flavoring a unfortunately. I have eaten at Grana before and enjoyed the regular leafy green salad and pizza, and that... More

This is a hipster type spot with an interesting menu. We had the 20 mile plate, a couple of the flat breads The 20 mile plate was simple, but terrific-quality ingredients, interesting combinations. More rosemary! Good wine, terrific orange bread pudding which was recommended by our attentive server. The service was the star......attentive but not overly so. We never wanted... More

A friend introduced me to Grana. I will be eternally grateful. We shared a special for the day. A delicious artichoke half. The highlight though was the Green Pizza. Described on the menu as: Crescenza, roasted broccoli rabe, garlic, chili flake, olive oil, lemon, pecorino It was delicious. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The outdoor patio... More

I really like the Pasta dish with the meat on it...yummy flavor. But for real, skip your meal and just get the freaking Creme Brûlée Trio and you will be in heaven. They have a lemon, traditional and I think a chocolate or peach or something. Whatever. You had me at Creme Brûlée. My husband groans in pleasure every time.... More

We recently had a Sunday brunch after my son's wedding. The food was wonderful and the restaurant took great care with presentation.

I went to Grana once of twice with friends for dinner a few years back. I am not a pizza fan and all my friends wanted to split pizzas (which were very good) but I haven't been back in a longtime because I think of it as a gourmet pizza restaurant. But that all changed this week. I went for... More

I often visit Grana as a solo diner and sometimes meet friends there. Though it is always full of couples small groups and at least one larger group I feel perfectly comfortable and welcome as a solo. Grana has a very open and spacious feeling but when dining alone I have enjoyed being seated at the dining bar. There is... More

Staying in Chico for a brief stint, I left my room this afternoon looking for a good beer and a good salad for a light dinner. I stumbled on this nicely located and nicely inviting and quaint restaurant that features a open dining area with outdoor seating. The waiter was helpful with a perfect beer selection and I ordered a... More

Little attitudinal host, maybe he thought he was in a good restaurant in North Beach, but no. Good interior design, nice seating area outside. $15 for a medium pizza, no slices - who does that. No pepperoni, I should have walked out then. They paint butter on the pizza like papa Murphy's yuck, & drizzle oil on the pizza before... More
