Located in picturesque Cayucos, California, Schooners has been offering guests an unforgettable dining experience since it opened in 1993. Embracing a nautical theme reminiscent of the early history of the Central Coast sailors and fishermen, Schooners boasts the best ocean views of any restaurant in the area. Gaze into the deep blue while enjoying one of our signature cocktails, or perhaps some of our famous calamari strips. Schooners menu features fresh seafood and steaks, prepared thoughtfully by Chef Beto Gonzalez. Take time to stop in, take a look and say hello; chances are you'll find yourself wanting to indulge in our house specialty Bloody Mary, our fresh seafood, and some lively conversation with our local patrons. Hope to see you soon!

Good food; nice beach views.

Had a really good dinner and great service. ( A little over priced on the fish and chips for the amount given), but good.

The weather was almost constant rain so we did not get to do some things that we had planned however, that did not spoil our stay we will be back to do whatever we could not do this visit.

On a New Year trip to 4 wheel in Pismo, this is our lunch stop Great Food, good brews and awesome View of the ocean and new Pier I had the BLT hubby the Hearst Ranch Beef cheese burger, both fabulous! The fries are beer battered thin style with a nice crunch. We drank the local Cayogos Amber Ale. Have... More

My experience at this restaurant has always been positive. Unfortunately, December 27, 2015 was not one of them. A group of friends were celebrating a birthday and the start of vacation in Cayucos. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Down hill from then. Our waiter seemed distracted and was having a hard time listening. Ordering drinks was an ordeal... More

Stopped here when passing through on highway 1 - we sat on the upper deck - great view - great service and great food - I would strongly recommend it and followed up by a walk on the pier. Seafood was excellent and the fish tacos were great with loads of fish!

We stopped for a snack and drink while passing through and sat on the upper deck. Nice seating but very tight seating. Service was good and we shared the Salmon Cake Appetizer! Yummy! I would have it again as it was very fresh tasting and not your average crab cakes!

Sitting on their deck and enjoying fresh seafood is a must do when you are in Cayucos. Creative menu, friendly staff and the best view in town.

Had dinner here on Sunday and have the steamers and the Kalahari steak. The best, so delighted we went back for lunch the next day and ordered the same melt in your mouth food! Will be back.

My girl and I go to Cayucos often and always enjoy happy hour at Schooners! It's a neighborhood kind of place and a nice place to meet nice people. We have never had bad food there and really love the friendly atmosphere! A must go place if you are staying somewhere near California's Central Coast!

Amazing seafood with wonderful service. The fish tacos are amazing and the calamari is a must. The bar is a great place to catch a great view of the ocean.
