Sadly, Tootie passed away. This location is now the highly touted Zoie & Meister. BBQ is still available on weekends and it is as good as Tootie's was.

Friends recommended it so we gave Tooties Barbeque a try, and sorry that we did. The venue is quite pleasant and the Big Beef outside is inviting, as is the thematic decor and interior furnishings. But, the food isn't up to par for Texas Barbeque...More
This restaurant closed quite some time ago. It was floundering until Robert Irvine's Restaurant Impossible re-did it. I was never there, but I understand it did well for a short while, until the owner passed away. I'm only writing this so that no one goes...More
BBQ was only average and disappointing. I doubt I'll ever go back. Had a large group and only 2 employees so service was lacking. Not TX quality.

Worse BBQ I have ever had in the desert. Service was terrible as well...I have gone 3 different times and each visit was terrible. I gave them a chance...not again.

Great food and congenial owner. The best BBQ we've had. Currently the hours are 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, until the snowbirds arrive. Try to get there early, you won't regret it!
We had a coupon for this restaurant so we wanted to check this out being previously from Texas. We arrived around 4:30 pm on a weekday. It seemed our server had just woken up or was very new at her job. They did not have...More
