Lucca's is a Castro Valley staple. It is one of the very best Italian delis around California. TIP: Make sure you take a number when you arrive. You will have time to look around both before ordering and while waiting for your sandwich to be made. Their made-to-order sandwiches are amazing, made with the best tasting meats and cheeses. The... For over 35 years I have enjoyed the best sandwichs on the Peninsula from Little Luccas. Housed in the last post WW2 row houses on El Camino you can your favorite get meat. Cheese and produce served with their pesto and garlic sauce. It's the best. I highly recommend the salami and cheese or the turkey and avacodo. The price... More

Great sandwiches, made-to-order, as well as a variety of cold cuts, deli platters, candy and drinks. Make sure to call your order in ~20min ahead of time so that you don't need to wait in line!

We've been getting sandwiches at Lucca's for years now and they are always delicious! This is my boys first choice whenever we let them pick a sandwich place. Deli meat and prepared frozen dishes are wonderful too. A local gem!

All of the staff are ready to make the sandwich that will make you happy. Parking isn't too bad, street or in the B of A lot for a quick stop. I usually buy some Torrane (candy) for my brother in law (and me) when I go there.

Great local Deli. Standard variety Italian Sandwhiches, but executed quite well. They were not skimpy on the meat either. I'd call an order in on the phone first, then make your way over to pick it up. They give you options, and these are hand-crafted, thus, it takes a little time. A+ from me!

Luccas is the place to go for a fabulous deli sandwich. Their lasagna take away ain't bad either. This has been a gold standard for decadent delicatessen eating for decades. But we recently used them to cater two funerals and they were fabulous and generous with their portions. Wonderful people. Quality food at a great value.
