It is amazing what they make. Fresh tamales. Pastries and beautiful cakes. You can pick up burritos , It is must stop right on corner of 9th and Linden.

I love tamales. I was visiting Carpinteria and saw a sign the Reynaldo Bakery window for 5 star tamales. I was intrigued, but they were closed. I stopped on the way out of town and picked up several chicken and pork. The chicken was the best tamale I have ever had. I would drive the 320 miles from my home... More

If you like Masa, ignoring the tamale filling, you'll LOVE their tamales! So my wife brought home some of Reynaldo's tamales which I have loved in the past. She heated and serve me up what I thought would be their wonderful tamales and BOOM! Where is the filling. They obviously were trying to save $$$'s by cutting back on the... More

So many options... but we all had a breakfast burrito. There is every meat option you can think of - chorizo is excellent. Then, add on the rest - potatoes, cheese, peppers - the list is long. Which is why the burrito becomes huge. And delicious. Take it down the road to a picnic table on the beach and just... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of tamales on sale, and savored each bite. While there we saw a customer picking up an incredible handcrafted cake. She says she buys all of her cakes at Reynaldo's.

I've only had the tamales there as that is what the locals know it for. Not to say their other items aren't great but they have a great selection of tamales and they are large and quite good.....

We ordered the "El Jefe" burrito which was big enough for two people. Chorizo, potato, egg, peppers and more. Most flavorful breakfast we had one the trip.

We got some pastries and a flan. Disappointed to find that the selection was very limited as to European breads (hoping to get some German breads). The has mostly Mexican food/breads.

They have really, really good breakfast burritos that cost about $2.50 a piece. I've also had their tamales and they were equally as delicious. I've never tried their pastries but I hear that are also quite good.

The best, fresh baked, pastries and Mexican bread. Ask what is just fresh baked, take it to-go and walk down Linden St to the beach and enjoy
